In all seriousness, if he is to go...then what price would livi supporters be happy with?
I'm not sure i'd let him leave for less than 400k. He has ridiculous potential and his value would increase as soon as he joined an english club anyway. Should he do well, who knows what kind of price they could sell him on for!
Valuing a player these days is so difficult. Worse players have gone for more though.

I think the key with deals like this is making sure you get a good sell on clause agreed. James McCarthy went from Hamilton to Wigan for a reported £1m but they have a 20% sell on clause in that and with Everton apparently ready to splash £15m on him, Hamilton will get more from that than they did from selling him in the first place.
I think somewhere around the region of £500k with a sell on clause and maybe an International clause - when he makes his Scotland debut, which he will likely do soon, Livi receive a payment at that point too.
Ideally though, I hope he doesn't move this season. I think he could probably do with shaking this injury, getting the rest of the season under his belt and taking it from there. Remember, if we stay in this division, we could have the likes of Hearts and The Rangers in our league so he'd have even more exposure next season. Time'll tell I guess.

£300,000 up front £100,000 after 15 games £100,000 on 1st senior Scotland cap. Oh, and at least 10% of any future transfer fee subject to a minimum of £100,000
I think that should do.

Peterborough bid for Stevie May broke down due to the POSH not paying full amount up front. They wanted a payment plan over a year. Don't think they do business with cash upfront so that doesnt look likely. Also seen a few reports that Scougall will go to Wolves for a trial when hes fully fit from his hamstring injury. I'd imagine Wolves would be able to afford a little more than Peterborough. Dont want him to goooo!!!

We'll be lucky to get £150k - not because he's not worth it but because the highest level he's played is Scottish First Division with a couple of u21 call ups.

Dont want him to goooo!!! I don't think he's due back from injury until September so if any trial/deal was to happen after then, I reckon he wouldn't go anywhere until the end of the season. Even money in installments wouldn't be a bad thing I'd imagine. Club would know how much they'd be getting every month and what not. Would mean there was an income in the months when we have little home games or postponements.

I just hope Stefan stays because he is a quality player and has great potential and he can still develop at livi and then maybe in a season or two think about selling him if the price is right

Weve definitely missed his presence in the games ive seen so far this season. Maybe a combination of his flair and obriens calming impact but hopefully hes back fit soon, putting in performances and adding pounds to his valuation.

It's in his and the club's best interests for him to stay. His influence, creatively, is massive and although we looked not too shabby on Saturday there, when he's in the side we undoubtedly pose much more of an attacking threat. Personally, I don't think he made as much progress last season as he should have, so another season or two here developing his game, getting regular playing time, and being the main man of the team would help him massively. As Papa Shango said at the start of the thread, our league is going to get so much more exposure with Hearts and Rangers potentially being in the division. Good showings against these sides could bump his price up even further.
IMO, when you see some of the utterly nonsensical transfer fees which are commonplace in England, I seriously believe he's worth £500k, all in. He has the potential to play for infinitely better sides than Peterborough and Wolves.

No more mad (lying b*stard) Massone style give aways!

Brilliant news that we'll still have Scougall for at least another few months. It'll probably work out best for him to get back to full fitness, in about the first team and then make the move elsewhere rather than going while injured/coming back from an injury and not being able to get involved straight away.
Hopefully he'll be back in our team soon and helping push up the table.
