I really enjoyed the game yesterday. Our play in the first twenty minutes or so was pretty frightning actually. Jimmy, Sparky and Denholm linked up very well. We looked exciting each time we came forward most of the time during the game I thought.
From where I was which was a similar line of sight to the ref, though much further back, I thought the penalty was 50/50 as Colls arms were looked to be in a unnatural position. Having seen the replay though I'm astounded! That said, the referee (and both linos) were both terrible for the second week in a row.
Hastings was having a rare time it's just a shame he was obviously not up to match speed and we all saw that second booking coming.
Great finish from beanie for his goal!
Considering we were missing a lot of players I think we should take great heart from that performance.
