Tricky game to start the season with - away from home against a side that were in good form for most of last season and will have a 'nothing to lose' attitude this season, much like Airdrie did when we started against them last year.
Hoping that the win against Elgin will steady the nerves that were on show against Berwick and we'll be ready to hit the ground running on Saturday.
Alloa narrowly lost out to Dundee in the Ramsdens Cup but also bounced back with a good win up in Peterhead on Saturday so will be looking to push on from that too.
Hopefully the boys who were playing with niggles on Saturday are fully fit and we'll maybe see Burchill back in the squad. Wonder if any of the midweek trialists will feature?
Prices on the OS say £14 for adults and £7 for concessions.
Hopefully we'll start the league season with a good, away win!

£14 to stand on a weed covered terrace behind the goals, or an extra pound to sit in their gazebo? They're having a laugh!

Any news on whether any of the injured players will be fit for tomorrow? Hoping to make the game and think that we will be too good for alloa. Theyve got some good attacking players in Andy kirk, Darren young and Ryan mccord but our backline are more than capable of dealing with them.
Be good to get the league season off to a winning start.

Going by Burke's bit in the Courier, looks like we're still without Scougs, O'Brien, Jacobs, Mampuya and Burchill. www.westlothiancourier.co.uk/west-lothian-sport/2013/08/08/livingston-boss-eager-for-trip-to-alloa-62405-33702435/He does say that he thinks he's found the man he wants to bring in upfront and that he could possibly feature tomorrow. It'd be good to see us boost our frontline and go there tomorrow and bang in a few goals. Nothing better for a striker than a debut goal so here's hoping, if we've got a new face at Alloa, he starts the season as he means to go on.

Given that the Courier article doesn't mention any players returning from injury, I'd imagine we'll start with the same side that played Elgin (unless one of these trialist strikers feature?). Big improvements were made from berwick so hopefully that'll continue.
Wilkie looked exciting and Beaumont was more involved in our attacking play. Hopefully those two can help get the service to McNulty and I'm always confident that when he's on the ball in or around the box, he'll grab us a goal. 2 in 2 so far from him so more of the same wouldn't go a miss tomorrow.
I fancy us to win but reckon it'll be a tight game - I'll go for a 2-1 Livi win.
Come on the Livi!

Just back. Deserved at least a draw.
Their keeper has pulled of two or three brilliant saves and they did little up the other end, one goal and a good save from DJ apart, to deserve all three points.
The ref was really poor. It seemed at times he was just making it up as he went along, or if Hartley shouted for it he got it.
How Docherty saw red for two yellows, I don't know.
We'll improve when we get our half a team of crocks back and hopefully the results will begin to turn our way.

Hello, first time caller.
I've no worries about us this season. Not based on today's performance anyway.
We're missing 4 or 5 likely first choice picks, the ref was atrocious (for both times but mainly us) and we were better all over the park with the one exception of them scoring one goal. I know points (goals) mean prizes but apart from DeeJay making that one good save in the first half he might as well have sat there with a flask of tea and a copy of his mums Peoples Friend.
I think that Beaumont needs to be more aware of where he is on the park and who is around him and that McDonald doesn't look quite ready for the cut and thrust of the first team just yet but apart from that we looked okay.
Very disappointing to still be on zero points though. Had high hopes of an opening day victory to set us up for a good season.
QoS next week and they're no mugs as their 4-3 win over Dundee shows. Oh oh.

And apparently QoS were 4-1 up & ripping Dundee apart until the 2 in the last 5 mins made the scoreline respectable.
Not sure where your confidence is coming from; we could have a mountain to climb by the time we get those players back & the team gelling & firing on all cylinders.

No complaints about the result, we were second best to everything.
Our only real chances of note came from hopeful long range shots - really lacking a cutting edge in the final 3rd.
Silly tackle from Doc when he knew he was already on a yellow - you won't get away with that.
Pass marks for DJ, Mensing and Scott - that was it.
Really need to step it up next week.

A bit harsh imo.

That's what I thought at the time. Still harsh now, if you ask me.

Couldn't make the game on Saturday, but lets hope we get our team of injured players back as soon as possible or else we may struggle to get results in the short term.

Ah, yes, there's the potential fly in my ointment. I was thinking that we'd have all our crocks back this week. Is that not the case then? No Docherty either, but that might be not so bad as he didn't have the best of games versus Alloa. Before his red card.

Andy Barrowman was at the game on Saturday, didn't flinch at the Alloa goal apparently... Could be the striker we're looking at but just couldn't agree on a deal in time?
