Seen on our twitter feed last night that we had two English trialists playing in the reserve friendly against Musselburgh. We won 1-0 but it was young Kyle Lander that got the goal after coming on as a sub.
One of the papers at the weekend also suggested Nish is still on trial with us alongside Vinny Mukendi. It said Mukendi is English born so assume he might have been one of the two who featured last night. His brother is on loan to Partick from Liverpool.
Not to say it means he wouldn't be good for us but going by his record here, he doesn't look too prolific - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinny_Mukendi
He's been capped for Congo U21's and is 6ft 7" if this video is correct -
Also found this story on him from 2010 where, after playing in the Macclesfield first team, he was apparently being monitored by a Premiership side aswell as a number of Championship teams - www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_6513869,00.html
