Story in the West Lothian Courier on Thursday that McNulty is in talks with Livi just now and looks likely to sign a new deal. Apparently he's on month-to-month contracts just now so if any club came in for him, we'd be entitled to compensation but looks like we'll be tieing him down for the season at least.

With us missing out on Elliot, getting Sparky tied up is a huge boost. Reckon we'll get plenty of goals from him and Burchill as a front two - both guys know where the goals are and I'm confident both will do a cracking job at this level. Still reckon we could do with one more striker though as I think Lander and Mullen would leave us a bit light up top if McNulty and Burchill picked up injuries.

Marc McNulty looks set to pen a new deal at Livingston after signalling his intention to stay at Almondvale.
The Lions hitman is currently on a month-by-month contract, as a new deal could not be agreed during the early part of the close season.
He remains tied to Livi as anyone signing him would owe the club compensation.
And after weeks of negotiations, an agreement finally looks on the cards.
McNulty told Courier Sport: “The gaffer has expressed that he wants to keep me and I want to stay myself.
“We are in talks just now trying to get something sorted, so hopefully that will be over soon.”
