A good performance with better ball retention than the other night would be good.
Even better if we pumped them.

A much better all round performance against a strong Wolves side that would, in my opinion, walk the First Division.
No denying that they had the vast majority of play but we battled so much better than in the Rotherham game and our goal was a cracker from start to finish!
I Reckon The Thumb will no last long down in the English 3rd tier. He's just no got the mental capacity to handle the rough and tumble that will surely come his way.
Anyway, let's look for continued improvement against Thistle on Tuesday!

Excellent Livi goal but what has happened to the pitch? In patches it looks like a ploughed field. Lucky equaliser, with a ricochet or 2 taking it past DJ. Winner was an excellent goal too. Good saves from our second goalie. Decent effort from number 12 (Colin Nish?)

I must say that our goal was simply devine. A combination of long ball and crisp, direct passing, with a cool and sharp execution to score. Lovely!

Much better than Tuesday night. We matched them for spells in the first half and played some good stuff. The goal was a beauty - a brilliant finish to match a brilliant cross.
Was really impressed with Conor McDonald in midfield - thought he put in a good shift and wasn't afraid or put off by the size of some of the Wolves players. Good to see Burchill getting a run out although he didn't have an awful lot to do. Liked the look of Walker in goals when he came on - a couple of top saves, especially the double save. Nish gave us something different upfront - someone who can win a header and get in about the opposition defence, unlucky with his long range effort that dipped over the bar.
We slowed down in the second half but that was to be expected given Wolves made all those changes plus the experience they have of Premiership and Championship football.
Loved seeing Talbot getting stuck right into sparrow face - he's still a crabit wee guy, eh? Should have had about a hat-trick but reckon his head was too full of wanting to argue and fight rather than just sticking away his simple chances.
Encouraging stuff on thw whole.

On another day, that could have been 5 or 6-1 to Wolves but performance wise, we had more about our game than we did midweek against Rotherham.
I liked the Mensing/Donaldson partnership better than Mensing/Fordyce the other night. With it looking very much like Talbot and Mampuya will be the left and right back, interesting to see what pairing are prefered when the league games start. Can only assume Jones is injured since he hasn't featured in these last two games.
Wasn't too bothered about the trialist wearing 11 but thought number 8 looked useful - composed on the ball and picked out some good passes.
I'd like to see more of Nish. Never been a fan in the past but as LiviLion21 says, he's a different sort of striker than anyone we have just now. Hopefully see him start against Partick for a better look.
