Meaningless? Playing for pride? Does anyone care anymore? Top seeds in the group away from home in the middle of the close season - not the greatest of timing. According to the Beeb, Griffiths will make his first Scotland start tonight and Englishman James Morrison will captain the team. Looking at the squad for this, I reckon it's our weakest pool of players in a long, long time. Quicker this campaign is over the better. high chance we could drop down another pot too so it's only going to get harder from here. Not a great time at all. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22787925Game kicks off at 7.15pm and is live on BBC2.

Don't think the game is meaningless at all. I heard the Croatia manager saying that we need to pick up 4 points from our remaning qualifiers to make sure we're in Pot 4 for the Euro qualifiers so we definitely need to be trying to make sure we do what we can.
A really hard place to go tonight though. Agree with Mark McGhee that even the top teams would be quite happy to come back from Croatia with a point so that says it all about the quality they have.
Our team will be young tonight but hopefully the enthusiasm from players like Bannan and Griffths will go along way to putting up a fight tonight. We know all to well that Sparky has goals in him - hopefully he can do the business tonight.
Come on Scotland!!!

If you ask me Strachan isn't taking the job seriously. He's got his contract. What does he care? I can see it being a rout tonight and watch for Strachan distancing himself from the players he picked.

Snoddy's only gone and put us one up in the first half.
Let's see how things pan out after the break.

Excellent win; more than decent performance. Shows what can be done when the squad is together for more than 3 days before a match

Croatian fans at last nights match show Scotland fans what they think.

So many 'regular' players missing - Strachan might need to have a wee think about that going forward.
Typical that when we're completely written off, we pull a result out the bag - Scotland through and through.
A cracking shift though and a thoroughly deserved win. We gave the 4th best team in the works very little to work with and done a brilliant job from front to back.
