"The club can now confirm that terms have been agreed with former Livingston striker Iain Russell on a contract for next season. Iain will be registered as soon as the SFA Registrations Window opens. Iain was actually born in Dumfries and is no stranger to the area though his family no longer live here."

Beanie had a habit of scoring against his former sides so hopefully that doesn't continue next season! With Nicky Clark moving down a division to sign for Sevco, I'd imagine Russell will go straight in to the starting line-up there. I'd have liked to have kept ahold of him but best of luck down in Dumfries.
