So after Airdrie skelped the Pars and Cowdenbeath grabbed a win at Hamilton, the dirty six-fingered mobb from East End Park find themselves in the relegation play off. They play Forfar over two legs with the other semi seeing Brechin take on Alloa.
Wed 8th May - Brechin vs Alloa and Forfar vs Pars Sat 11th May - Alloa vs Brechin and Pars vs Forfar
You'd imagine the Pars will be strong enough to do the business but when it comes to the play-offs, you can never take anything for granted. I'd absolutely love, LOVE IT, if those manky bampots went dwon so for the next few days, I'll be a fully fledged Forfar fan! Mon the Loons!
Think the two-legged final is the following Wednesday/Saturday but not 100% sure.

For the sake of domestic happiness, I need to make the right noises about Dunfermline pulling through this, but Livi loyalty runs deep. So for the next week, I'm a covert member of the Station Park Young Team.

If I had to choose between Station Park and East End Park to make two trips next season, suffice to say Forfar wins hands down!
Come on the Loons!

I'd laugh like a demented drain if the Pars failed to stay up.

Latest results are:
Brechin 0-2 Alloa and Forfar 3-0 Dunfermline.
Looking like it's a drop to Div 2 for our friends from over the bridge. Take that Yorkston ya bawbag!

I wish people stop tempting fate. If we wish too hard for the "pars" to fail they may actually survive.

Calum Elliot plays for Alloa - hopefully he helps dump the manky mobb down to SFL2 before joining us.

Shame its up against the Europa League final as well, most of the Fifers will no doubt stay at home and watch the telly then go to the crucial game on Saturday

Okay, first leg result is 3-0 to Alloa.
Yorkston's bawbags once again look like tumbling into the 2nd Division.
Not holding my breath this time though. I'll stick to crossing my fingers and toes.
2nd leg is live on BBC ALBA once again, this Sunday afternoon.

We took dogs abuse from that lot and loads of ill will on their Forum after we got the draconian punishment of Div 3. Karma is a wonderful feeling, Come on ye wasps (for this match anyway)

Thought Alloa did really well. I saw them trying to play the ball out from the back on many occasions and thought that the pitch really helped with the game. Not sure why JJ lined his team up as he did or why they tried to play long ball on a plastic pitch? better team won. Now a sweep stake on the number of theirs that get sent off?

I doubt they will see the start of next season, and besides even if they are in Admin during the course of the summer should they not be demoted to Div 3 to "ensure the integrity of the league"?

Normally, they'd have been expected to come straight back up but with The Rangers in the division two next season too, this could prolong the Dunfermline nightmare just now.
In saying that, having that mobb visit them twice next season will help the finances a bit.

As a then SPL club who voted for their expulsion from the SPL, the Nu-Huns may look to boycott East End Park like the did with Dundee Utd in the Cup

Rangers didn't get excluded though. They went into administration and we're then liquidated. You know, I wish all other clubs boycotted them for a change. The chip on there shoulder is getting boring!
