It's a wee bit harder to have the same excitement about a game when it comes just a couple of days after the same team battered you 3-0! Doesn't help looking out the window and seeing the rain lashing down and hearing the wind whistling like mad!
Anyway, hopefully our boys will be out for revenge tonight. Wee Scougs might start after coming off the bench on Saturday and that will give us an extra bit of a flair in the midfield, Hopefully have O'Brien and Barr back too and that'll give us a bit more stability.
I take it we won't be seeing Burchill as a player before the season finishes? His experience up-top might have gave us an extra edge alongside Mullen and Lander.
I'll be there and hoping that we take our chances and get the win! Come on the Livi!

Maybe the ref will call the game off and we can all stay in with the heating on. ;D

If the ref had simply awarded a free kick to Livi in the build up to the first incident for a clear as you like push in the back on Docherty, none of the hullubaloo would have happened. Clown!

Not taking many positives last night. Question marks remain on Burke. High ball to Mullen for the majority of his game? Baffling.
The one big positive is that DJ started and kept a clean sheet with a couple of decent saves in there. Hopefully he starts from now til Raith and is our no.1 next season. He's going to have to be else he'll leave, and I've lost all faith in McNeil.

Kudos to our young goalie last night! Looked safe and assured throughout. Possibly our number 1 for next season?

Great to see the lads grind out a point!
I thought the ref acted harshly in sending Docherty straight off for his challenge! Considering this he acted very leniently in not giving their lad a second yellow for hauling back Beanie in the second half.
Glad to see young DJ get a run out and he handled himself really well, a couple of misplaced throws apart.

I only caught the second half last night but we definitely put in a battling performance to grind out the point.
A few on here were giving Donaldson a bit of stick after Saturday but he looked solid last night and was right in May's face at times to stop him getting time.
Having Barr and JCAGTL back last night looked to steady the ship a bit and they worked hard throughout alongside Watson and Donaldson to keep that clean sheet.
Good to see DJ getting a start and handling himself well - his distribution from kicks was excellent.
Mullen was bullied a bit but that's to be expected given his stature, lack of experience and the boys he was coming up against - even more so when he was pretty much doing a shift up there himself.
After getting a pumping from them on Saturday, it was good to pick up a point, a clean sheet and move back into third place.
Looking forward to Morton already! COLTS!

There are many times I think people moan about a referee without grounds, last night is not one of them. He was clearly inconsistent and at the end appeared to take delight in winding up home support further by his actions. The team worked hard but at times ineffectively, the point about high balls to our mall striker being valid. The change of striker did not do much to change that but was well received by the crowd. Does Beany lack a bit of pace to play that role of lone striker?

The referee was a nightmare the entire game. Think he was the only person to put in a worse performance than fox.
Anthony andreu has been a brilliant capture for us. Hes so calm on the ball and manages to make so much space for himself. Its even more impressive that hes done this while carrying fox all season long.
Once we went down to ten men all hope of us attacking were over with and it turned into a backs against the wall shift that our backline done really well. They deserve all the credit for that point last night.
Morton need to win on saturday to have any chance of staying in the race for the title so theyll come here all guns blazing. Our boys will need to ready for another battle.

McLean I am sure is a Fifa Listed referee. I wasn't at the game so can't say what his performance was like, but if he was bad then he's supposed to be one of the better ones

Livingston 0-0 Hamilton: Livingston deny Accies
Livingston claimed a laudable draw against Hamilton despite being reduced to 10 men in an ill-tempered stalemate.
Livi teenager Ross Docherty endured a dramatic, albeit brief, outing as he was dismissed in the encounter’s most contentious moment. He was shown a red card by referee Steven McLean for a reckless challenge on Hamilton defender Ziggy Gordon after 27 minutes, an evident attempt at retribution after a similar challenge perpetrated by Gordon minutes earlier, for which the Accies defender was only booked.

As the highlights show and LVTV snaps indicates there is very little difference in the tackles. Both players did not have a supporting foot on the floor. The main difference was the rest of the Hamilton players that swamped the ref and told him forcefully what actions to take. Rugby does not have such problems as the ref takes action and failing that the forwards will at the next restart. But that manhandling and mobbing the ref was meant to be eliminated from the game a couple of seasons ago and refs do have instructions on those lines.

First time I've seen Doc's red card. Extremely harsh given the yellow card for Gordon just before it. Consistency would have meant a yellow for Doc too. At least Gordon didn't roll about the floor for ages afterwards though, straight back up and even tried to shake Doc's hand.

We noticed at the time it looked Ross refused that lads handshake and the highlights show that. What a cheek he had! I agree that again the referee was poor for us but we should have been more in his face complaining about them. I clearly heard their number 7 call Jesus a f*cking p**f which I thought was disgusting but nothing was done about that. But anyway it was a well deserved point and the boys battled really hard for it. Fully deserved.
