That's a strange one as I thought he'd been playing regularly this season. Can only imagine they're looking to add some money to the kitty and look strengthen with players they feel are better than him.
He'll get another gig in the EPL no bother - says it all that West Ham were willing to offer £5m for him not that long ago.

Northern Summer? lol
Can only assume that site is based in the southern hemisphere.
Anyway, does come as a surprise, if true.
Wonder if his next move will be up or down the way?

West Brom have been flying this season and currently sit in 7th place in the EPL. Looking at the sides above them, can only imagine it'll be a move down the way in all honesty. Maybe wouldn't be a bad thing in all honesty - a move to the team in the bottom half where he'd maybe stand out and earn a further move down the line back up the way.
Scott Parker done it at West Ham - was at Newcastle, took a step down so to speak, stood out in the West ham team then got himself a move to Spurs and has ended up in the England squad.

Dorrans himself has asked for the move as he wants a fresh challenge according to the beeb. West Bromwich Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans has been told he can look for a new club this month.
The Scotland international, 25, was left out of West Brom's 18-man squad for their New Year's Day defeat by Fulham, despite being fit.
Baggies manager Steve Clarke says that Dorrans, whose contract runs to 2015, is looking for a "fresh challenge". www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20895255

If I'm being honest I'm not sure Dorrans was/is that good.
I mind I played for the school 3rd year team and despite being restricted in my abilities due to not wanting to get my new boots dirty I felt I was still the stand out player.
Best looking guy in the squad photo too. 100% fact.
That's probably why no-one liked me.
