Couple of cracking/shock results for Dumbarton to dig themselves out of the hole they were in. Games in hand are all good and well but we need to turn those games into points.
Huge ask to challenge for the title but an improvement on last seasons 5th place would be good. Being within touching distance of the top 2 or 3 would give games a bit of excitement too.

We've actually been on a no bad run of results recently. We can't be far from the 'form' team in the league. Looks (from the stats on the link ---> here) like our last 10 games have provided us with the same return as Morton during their rise to the top of the pile. Pretty good, you'd have to say.

Looking good for the Lions. I really think we have a great chance of challenging at the top of the league this year. We're playing some great football just now. Was really hoping the game was on today & Mango (the great) was back in the team - mon the LIONS

Hard to make much of the table just now in all honesty given the difference in games played. Morton are top and 12 points ahead of us but have played 3 games more. If we were to win those three games in hand (ifs and buts) we'd only be 3 points behind the current league leaders. That being said, Thistle are second, 10 points ahead of us and have only played one more game. So if we won that game in hand over them, we'd still be seven behind.
Huge game tomorrow by all accounts. If we win that, then I think we can start looking a wee bit further ahead.
I still stand by the view though that a top 4 finish would be fantastic.

I still stand by the view though that a top 4 finish would be fantastic. I agree. Until such times as the town and county get behind us in much bigger numbers, top 4 in the second tier is aboot as much as we can hope for.

100%. There's been various chat in the past about 'title challenges' and such but I think, realistically, that's way above our level given the budget we're operating with.
Being able to put in good shifts against the teams at the top - Thistle, Pars, Morton, Falkirk - will be enough for me. We're doing OK so far this season - be interesting to see how things kick on in the second half.
