The suspension of the league I hope does not impact on such a financial aspect that we face another administration? I hope we have sufficient reserves to survive.

As it was the league’s decision I would have thought that the league would need to ensure such an eventuality could not occur to any club.
These are unprecedented events & I would expect common decency to prevail by allowing any vulnerable clubs/businesses/families/individuals the chance to survive any financial strain.

Prob made at least 200K from the Celtic home game, i'd imagine with the way we're being run so sensibly and the money from the away fans we've been having since playing in the Premiership we'll be fine. We'll be due a very good bit of prize money if we make the top six this season too, whenever the season finally finishes.

i'd imagine with the way we're being run so sensibly [] we'll be fine My thoughts are that no Livi fan should ever be so blasé as to consider that Livingston FC is, financially at least, being run sensibly. Not with our history. And not with our limited knowledge of those who currently own and operate the club. As an aside, they're currently discussing on Radio Scotland that Inverness CT is currently convening a crisis meeting to discuss their perilous financial situation.

Lowest budget in the league last season and 2nd lowest this season, you think we aren't being run sensibly? Everything I've seen and read makes me believe we are, we didn't push for promotion in the Championship either, and our budget for that season was a fraction of the teams that thought they had a chance of promotion. It took us by surprise and John Ward had to work like buggery to get things ready for playing in the Premiership. The gates and prize money the last two seasons have been pretty good, three stands sold out to Celtic fans in our last home game, as well as the carparks and hospitality, I think we will be ok for a bit. Dunno what you think we should be doing as fans though, panicking and going on forums saying we're going into admin?

You see quite why I dont post here as much due to people putting 2 plus 2 and getting 8765432 or just assuming what I meant.
No one said we were going into Admin however it was only a cautious question due to previous track records.
I work for a FTSE company that employs 22000 staff and we are already looking for voluntary redundancy accross the business.
It was only a question. I'm sure we will be fine.
Health and Wellbeing should always be first.

Okay I totally surrender. I am not worthy or do not have the intelligence to voice or have an opinion on this site. I apologise to one and all for all my comments I have ever made here which should now be discredited and not taken into any context wither they be fact ir fiction.

Record profit posted for last season, admittedly the club is still reliant on loans but to post a record profit of over £350,000 is nothing short of outstanding.

Dunno what you think we should be doing as fans though, panicking and going on forums saying we're going into admin? Just not be so blasé as to simply assume that Livi is being run sensibly. But it is, and our recent accounts show that it is. We're far from invincible during this Coronavirus lockdown. but we're in as good a shape as we've ever been in our history, and being run the most sensibly we've ever been too. Nice touch by the Chairman putting up this announcement, in recognition to all the hard work everyone involved with the club has done, we're lucky to have dedicated loyal fans helping out during match days, and whenever else they're needed, and the whole backroom staff and players this past four seasons have been amazing. I understand your caution Pedro, with the way we've been let down in the past by our owners, we've had charlatans, dodgy characters and a downright crook almost destroying the club, but on evidence over the past four seasons, we're being run sensibly and sticking to budgets we can afford. The success on the back of that has been a fantastic bonus, due in no small part to the management team and backroom staff. livingstonfc.co.uk/message-from-the-chairman-2/

Yeah, his statement on It’s own could be taken with a pinch of salt but to make the statement on the back of the record profit announcement & the other measures that are in place gives his statement a whole new level of trustworthiness.
I also noticed some of the comments made by folk who have pledged to help the club including a certain David Martindale... stating that the club had allowed him to rebuild his life so he wanted to give something back. That speaks volumes to me. No doubt though there will be others who see it a different way.

Not much though.... I think most folk on here have been isolating Hope you are well my sparring partner ? Aye, I’m doing fine, thanks... yersel’? In my 3rd week back at work after furlough... I was getting quite used to being off so it’s been a bit of a shock to the system having to get up.... while I was off I was waking up with ease, usually not much later than I would get up for work... now I’m knackered every morning
