Thank feck that run of games are over and we can now get on with playing teams we can more realistically take points from, this is now a massive game for us in terms of taking us back up away from the dog fight down the bottom, our main two attacking players are back and have a couple of games under their belts too so that should help. Still expecting a tough game as Accies are experts at shitfesting results, but hopefully we come away with all three points. Mon the Lions, get intae them.

Certainly a mustn't lose game anyway, to keep us above Accies, and with County away to Celtic and not likely to get anything but a doing there, we'd move above them too. A win would be fantastic though, as well as getting us a bit of distance on the chasing pack, it could give us a wee lift to maybe push on and rack up some more wins.
We've had a bit of a rough time with bad refereeing decisions, injuries, and players coming back but not up to speed yet, hopefully this will be the game to get us back on a wee run of form.

If today didn’t show we need an out ‘n out number 9 I don’t know what will. Outplayed them for pretty much the whole game just no one to put it away. 😣

If today didn’t show we need an out ‘n out number 9 I don’t know what will. Outplayed them for pretty much the whole game just no one to put it away. 😣 Another striker would be great yep, even just to give us an option up front when Dykes gets injured or suspended, it has already cost us when he's been out of the team. Thought we looked better once Robbo came on, wish we'd started him, we saw him getting onto flick ons from Dykes and it gives us a far better attacking shape. Last time those two started together we beat Celtic with both of them scoring our goals. Hamilton came to get the draw and they made the game very scrappy, didn't even have a shot on our goal, their shitehousery is difficult to play against but we were far too negative in our attack and I would've liked to have seen either Sibbs or Souda come on and having a run at them. I was fearing they'd do their usual and grab a late breakaway goal, that would have been a sore one to take so thank Christ they didn't. A point wasn't great at home but as I previously said, it was more a must not lose game for me, and we didn't, the point takes us up to seventh place above County on GD, and another point away from both Saints and Hearts. And also finally gets us onto 14 points, that bloody 13 points was a weight around our necks.

1 win in 12 ouch There were no excuses for Sat’s game for example they were a bigger team or it was a free week or our season won’t be settled on games against this team. What i’ve heard over the last number of weeks is. We have a run of games that we should be winning. We didn’t loose but if we have any hope of survival in this league we need to take more than 1pt off teams like Hamilton over 2 games so far.

On this we can agree but at least we halted the defeats.
What I will say is that once again inept officials contributed to the result.

Don’t know we can blame officials for that one?? We just didn’t do enough to win.

Yes we were wasteful with our chances but I remain convinced the ball crossed the line & we had 2 solid penalty claims & insufficient added time - Bartley got on-pitch treatment for 3 or 4 minutes yet only 2 were added, Accies time wasted from kick off to full time whistle yet not once were they pulled up for it. Accies were allowed to take throw-ins from anywhere they liked but if we got a throw in near the half way line, the 4th official made sure we didn’t get past where he was standing...and that’s not the first time I’ve seen that this season. So IMO the officials had a direct influence on the result. Colum standing shrugging his shoulders when Rice hid the ball in the dug out was farcical, he is fully aware that we have a supply of balls in case some are lost over the roof of the stand, so why did he not ask for a replacement? the 4th official could easily have gotten a new ball but the Lino was the only one to make any kind of effort to replace it.

We have no divine right to be there; hard work & doing the simple things well will go a long way to help.

Moved up into 7th place. Teams like Hamilton have been in this league for 6 seasons, there is a reason for that, they are no pushovers. With 1 win in 12 form the only thing that will keep us in the top league is luck. 1 point out of 6 from a team like Hamilton is poor given how bad they play Luck is something we don't have, otherwise we would be on at least 19 points and up above Hibs. So far we dropped a point to Accies with the ref giving them a penalty that was the wrong decision, 2 points to Hearts for not getting a penalty we should've got, another 2 points to Hibs for Allen dropping to his knees conning another penalty. Also had a couple of offside goals given to The Rangers and Helander getting away with a red card challenge when he injured Dykes ankle. Oh and Aberdeen being awarded a penalty for a challenge outside the box, that was actually a foul to us. Despite all that we are sitting in seventh place and punching well above our weight in the top flight.
