Not a pumping but an important win nonetheless. Yep sums it up. Game of two halves thought we were terrific in the first half at points created chances and worthy of the lead. However whatever Starsky (no Hutch today as he was ill) said at at half time certainly must have boring as it put the boys to sleep because we were not great. Defence looking not great at times and better teams will punish but at the end of the day we got the win. Perhaps the club would consider a friendly against Bury this weekend. |

Terrific result yesterday, even more so considering the players that were missing due to injuries, and others that played didn't quite look fully recovered from the County game, Dykes limped off against them and didn't look fully fit against St Mirren.
Souda is fantastic going forward but leaves a gap at the back, giving no protection to our FB, that aside we still managed to score two goals and grind out the result, our players gave it their all and got the deserved reward for their commitment.
For a change the International week came at a good time for us, hopefully it gives us the chance to get our injured players back fit.
