Oh joy. Another close season, another “who is in charge?” thread including the spectre of Neil Rankine. Excuse me while I pretend to be interested.

Is Neil Rankine still heavily involved? Who sits on the board / operating committee? How much debt is the club in? 3 Great questions. Firstly outwith these questions may I say John Ward was magnificent for the club we were on a stable footing with him. If Rankine is involved he has no care about the club just wants his money back plus interest, plus bonus, plus blah, blah...allegedly The debt is rumored to be around £1.3m, however it was being managed. The club got £1.4m for finishing 9th. I do not know the extent of additional monies, BBC Alba, BT sport, we know the SKY monies are pre portioned. |

Really? Looked to me that we turned a small profit in our promotion season & the balance sheet showed a net position of being about £850k in the red. I could be wrong, it’s been a while since I looked at a P/L account & a balance sheet (about 35 years).

The whole Neil Rankine issue and his relationship with the club and those who he's positioned within it to run things for him is always going to cause controversy in my opinion.

What is his relationship with the club (other than maybe a creditor)? And who has he positioned within it to run it for him?
And Given the powers that be told him to end his involvement in the club, if he hasn’t , why in the world would the club’s own fans keep dredging it up?
