I suspect Pedro wanted us to give this gaggle of goons a good gubbing & the boys pretty well supplied on demand. As comfy a 2-0 as we could have hoped for. We never really looked troubled defensively although Kelly did have a couple of saves late on. As usual the opposition were allowed to employ WWE manhandling techniques while our players weren’t allowed to breath on their players. Good to see Hardie score from open play after a nice wee chip from Robbo set him free & another bullet header from Captain Halkett after an excellent Sibbald cross showing that while his peg next season will be at Hearts, his heart this season is still very much the heart of a Lion.
Top flight status secured before the league split is a fantastic achievement not many of us would have expected before a ball was kicked this season so well done to everyone at the club especially the players & team management. 6 games to relax in... so let’s go to Parkhead & noise up that mob with a sneaky wee win... beating them is the only achievement we have never managed so why not Saturday just for a laugh?

Taken a while but Sibbald is showing some real quality now, Lawson is another one who is now looking like a starting player for us. Looking forward to seeing Raffa feature in our remaining games too, too late to push for a top six spot but it's good to see us having such a strong squad for the closing games.
Accies came to grind out a draw, they've been the worst team I've seen ay the TMA, no attacking threat at all till they went behind two nil, even then they only had that one chance with a ball bouncing past our defence and Kelly having to come out to make a block. Captain Halkett was his usual immense self, confident and assured in defence, and also a threat for us from set pieces in attack, we're going to miss him hugely next season but it has been great having him here for the whole season. Also looks like Hardie is back to his best, I can see us winning a few more points and climbing above Motherwell and/or St Johnstone, we're looking as strong now as we have been all season.

Steady JS - it was comfy against a poor side and now you have us almost certainties (I exaggerate to wind you up) for 7th!
In all seriousness, I see no reason why we can’t challenge the two teams above us over the remaining games, I just hope it’s us that sends Dundee down.

We are guaranteed top tier football next season with FIVE games in hand. Not what was predicted by all the "all knowing" pundits at the beginning of the season. Let's enjoy that. Next season may be more problematical if we lose any more key players. I know Gary & co will be looking to bring in replacements but … as good as Halkett and Gallacher? Let's hope they find some "diamonds" out there. Maybe our success will encourage some of the "Bigger" teams to trust us with some loans. Could Morelos be looking for a home? (I am JOKING)
