Today’s game is the type that we’d all identified at the start of the season as being one of the so-called “6-pointers.” It’s a massive game in the context of our whole season a win, especially with St Mirren playing Rangers at lunchtime, might see us make the gap with the bottom sides truly enormous. There’s a chance to freshen things up today. Maybe see how we can fit in Sibbald - who looks to be a great player, and would excel on the 4G, and Jack Hamilton for something different up front? It’s blowing a gale so that’s likely to be a factor in the game. After today, it’s back-to-back matches against the Bogot Brothers. So, realistically, we need to pick points up today to stop a string of potential defeats rising 4 in a row. I fancy us to bounce back. 2-0.

It's nil nil at St Mirren at half time. We need to get in about Hamilton from the start and not give them a chance to settle. Get back to what we're good at and be in their faces all game long. A game like is is where Keaghan should show his class!

Here's hoping for an early Livi goal to make things a bit easier for us, mon the Lions.

That was a real sickener. How we lost that game I’ll never know. Lawson was excellent in the middle of park today, along with Pittman and Byrne. Halkett is too good for this league.
At least St Mirren and Dundee lost.
We’ve got the Bigot Brothers in succession next then we need to focus on the games after those.
Remember we’ve been without Rafa, Lee Miller and Ryan Hardie all season so far. They’ll all be like new signings. We’d have scored today, and in other games, if they’d been involved.
Let’s keep everything in perspective. If we’d been offered 18 points from the first 11 games (and 14 points from 11th place) I think we’d all have grabbed it.
So proud of this team.

Thought we played well today Lawson was great allowed Pitman a bit more freedom. The only slight criticism and its slight very few shots from outside the box or within shooting range likewise it was the same on Wednesday however were not bottom had a dream start so we roll on. As long as Dundee and St Mirren keep getting thumped we have nothing to worry about.
Hope Ayr keep going be great if they joined us next season.

A game like is is where Keaghan should show his class! And he spent the game on the bench... it was probably right to freshen things up but he’s been a star performer recently. I think up front is where freshening is most needed. By all accounts we outplayed them but the bottom line is goals; that they got 1 immediately after going down to 10 men is a sickener but tend to agree with Col’s post.

Taking Lamie off was risky, we pushed for the winner and got caught with Accies breaking up the pitch, hindsight and all that but the worst we were getting was a draw when Lamie was on the pitch, which would've kept us above Hibs and in 6th place. The wind didn't make shooting from outside the box easy, the ball just rose from anything hit at range. We had more than enough chances to win the game long before pushing for the winner at the end though, would like to see Hamilton getting a chance up front again, or maybe even signing our trialist that has scored four goals in our last two reserve games, Jordan Allan. Tough couple of games coming up now, but it would be just like us to beat Celtic after losing to two teams we thought we'd get something against. Mon the Lions.
