All ticket game for some reason.

All ticket? Lucky if the crowd will be 20% of what Almondvale holds. What clown decided that?

Yeah making it all ticket wasn't a great decision, but do you ever come on here to celebrate us winning games and bask in our success, we're sitting fourth in the top tier after back to back promotions, there's a lot to be happy about just now.
Good chance of going ten points clear of Dundee here, we've two very tough games coming up too so winning this game would give us a bit of breathing space going into them. Mon the Lions.

C'mon Livi! Don't know if it is just my imagination, but there seems to be fewer pellets in the pitch.

Yeah there were fewer pellets but still too many. I’m beginning to agree with the pundits that the pitch is a great leveller; it’s bringing us down to the level of the opposition Great goal from Lawless today. Great save stopped Lithgow making it 2-0 - ref was a joke All in all another excellent 3 points. 10 points from 5 games is superb. When did we last win 3 on the bounce in the top tier?

Great 3 points. Was disappointed with the ref falling for all of Hamilton's dirty tricks.
Good to see Hardie get on for a while, hopefully he can start to get his sharpness back soon.
Pity we didn't finish a bit better today, could have been 2nd in the league tonight.
Really looking forward to Tynecastle next week, I think we can do them.

Got to agree with eastcalder, yep, I think we can cause another upset and take something from Tynecastle, wont be easy though.
Great goal by Lawless, top drawer that is right out of the Quino predator book, waiting just outside of the box for a ball breaking to him for a shot on goal and firing it into the top corner. Kinda expected us to go on and win by two or three goals after that but we ended up grinding it out. Good solid performance though, and a clean sheet to boot, some start for Gary Holt making it three wins on the bounce now.
Really looking forward to our trip to Tynecastle now and seeing if we can make it four wins on the bounce.

3 more very valuable points, yesterday! Fantastic!
Did we ever find out why the game was made all ticket? Did the decision affect the crowd, approx 1300 or so?

We're going to have automated turnstiles same as St Mirren, unfortunately things aren't set up properly yet and it's all hands on deck behind the scenes trying to get this fully operational. There will be online bookings available too so that should make things a bit easier. Wasn't ideal yesterday but hopefully it should be done soon and things will run more smoothly.

I thought Robbo should have won a pen live & seeing it again here I still think it’s a pen... Imrie on the other hand should have been booked for diving & booked for just being a git.
There is a full explanation on the OCS about ticketing but I can’t help but think we have shot ourselves in the foot especially as they would prefer the tickets to be bought during the week which is just not feasible for many folk & completely rules out someone deciding on the day to go to the game.

I tried to follow the set of rules issued by the club on when and how to buy tickets but, tbh, I gave up trying to understand them or even the reason why it has become such a cumbersome thing to try and do.
It just seemed like one big long excuse for what, on the face of it at least, is a massive balls up by either the club or ticketmaster or both.
Now I'm sure there will be fan boys out there who will hear that the club can do no wrong but at the end of the day it's all about bums on seats and anything that makes it harder to go to a game in a majority empty stadium is simply wrong. There should have been cash gates. No excuses. The boy Ward down there has got this one wrong. Imo.

Ticket issue to one side it was another fantastic result for the team!
I honestly thought we'd struggle all season long.
We may still hit a tough spell but these early points are a brilliant buffer ahead of future potential struggles this season.

Apparently Imrie doesn't go down very easily, someone should tell that to the wee diver then, good yin by the commentator. He threw himself into Lawson trying to con the ref into giving him a penalty, also successfully this time, conned the ref into booking Halkett. Do Accies players get coached to pick up the ball when they foul a player, seems to be the first thing they do, then walk away with it before throwing it away.

You can buy a ticket from the ticket office on the day for all other games. This isn’t any different from the way a lot of clubs do this. The last St Mirren game you had to buy a ticket (on the day) from the ticket office, same at QoS, Dunfermline, Hibs and others. Bit different from what we are used to but you can still get in on the day. So the game was Saturday was all ticket but, you could go and buy one on the day and if you had turned up on Saturday and was told you had to buy a ticket would you walk away? The bit that needs to be improved is the ticket office this has gone from being a collection point to a sale point and needs to be expanded urgently to better manage the queues.

Also need to have a cash sale for the tickets too, esp when folk are buying them on match day. Just got my tickets for the Hearts game and paid cash so don't understand why Livi weren't doing cash sales.

Don’t disagree I still use cash quite a lot but I see so many people using cards for everything can’t stop progress 😏
