I see Halkett and Lithgow are going to be out for this game, both going over the limit for yellow cards and have to serve a one match suspension. That is a big blow to our defence, Buchanan can fill in for one of them but not sure if we can stick with the back three line up or will have to go with a more traditional back four. Midfield wise we've plenty of options, and up front we've a settled starting pair in Miller and Hardie, so we should score goals, may be a case of just scoring more than them for this game, and not worrying too much about our defence.

Only two that I can see filling in at centre back, apart from Buchanan, are Dec or McMillan. I presume we'll play a back four of Jacko, Dec, Buchanan and McMillan. Should be able to beat them though, especially with the quality of our attack.

Don't see why we need to change from a back 3 of Buchanan, Gallagher & McMillan. Jacko can either start as the wide left player who can then drop back to left back if necessary or start on the bench & be brought on either as a replacement wide left player or left back if he decides to switch from a back 3.

The back three would cause the least disruption to our team right enough, and McMillan-Buchanan-Gallagher are the best three available to play there.

Excellent result today, and we go back to being eight points ahead of Morton and still have a game in hand. Thought we were going to rattle in five or six goals today after storming to a three goal lead, but it was still a comfortable win and good to get a clean sheet with our best two defenders suspended, some team.

A good result. We obviously took the foot off the gas in the second half, but a comfortable win overall. We have one of the best Livi sides I've seen in a long while, possibly capable of achieving survival in the SPL. This may be our chance to achieve promotion, as it's unlikely we'll be able to form a squad as strong for a while. Unless DH manages to work miracles again and bring in quality players on loan, like he has done this season. There is never a dull moment being a Livi fan, we're either flying or dying. If only more people in West Lothian got behind the team.

Yeah. The way this season has gone certainly suggests that this may be the season to do it, if we were to get promoted we might just keep the nucleus of the squad together and build on it. Which would, I believe be at least good enough to compete in the lower half of the top tier. If we don't go up it could see our best players being cherry picked. Which is realistically the type of club we are & would be perfectly understandable. You just get the feeling though that if this squad were to achieve another promotion that they would want to all give it a go in a side where they will play regularly.

If Hardie gets his contract extended at The Rangers they'd want to either give him some games or put him out on loan again, but to a Premiership team, so we could have a decent chance of getting him again next season if we were promoted. Really hoping they don't want to sign him back up and he signs for us though, same as they did with Halkett. As much as i'm enjoying our season, I can't wait for the league to be over so we can get started in the play offs, I really fancy our chances of winning them.

Thought we were way above the standard of play that Dumbarton offered in return who in all fairness looked a side that were a beaten and deemed to start the playoffs even as they truged off the pitch prior to kick off.
I dont know if anyone here was actually at the game apart from myself as no one has mentioned Hardies second goal or his miss in the second half when we split their defence in half and it was 3 v 1 with it looking to be number 4 but their keeper stuck a leg out from Hardies shot where a pass to Miller and he had a tap in.
We also rounded the keeper in the second half only for the ball to come off the post.
Dumbarton did have a free kick late out 20 yards out which Alexander dived to his right and held the ball.
Comfortable win with another 3 points towards 2nd place. Big game on Tuesday another must win for us if we can follow that up with a win at the weekend Second should be about confirmed we can then look foward to the play offs but we look a side that could perhsps compete in the bottom half of the Premiership.

Having seen the video, being a plastic fan & not being there....
Fantastic goal by Hardie Appalling misses by Hardie & Mullin
We certainly look capable of challenging the bottom half of the top tier but - & it's a big but & I just can't lie - that would need to keep the squad, including Hardie, together. Which is not guaranteed even if we were to get promoted. I'd like to think the squad would want to have a go together but you never know; the thing in our favour is the fact that if we go up & they stay with us, then they would stand a chance of starting most games, which would be less likely if they moved to another side.
