Comfortable and professional victory today on a difficult pitch and cold conditions. Three points. Clean sheet. Halkett and Pittman breezes through the game. Like the look of Boyd and Robinson up front together. Gallagher did well in midfield along with Byrne and Jacobs. Alexander had very little to do and there were good performances from Longridge and Lithgow. Buchanan looks like a good acquisition and was strong, composed and uncompromising. Ideal! Love that we’re in fourth place with a game in hand.at this stage of the season. Congratulations to the squad, the Manger, the staff and the Board. Loving it!

Good win coming on the back of the disappointing loss to QotS
Can you - or anyone else - elaborate on Gallagher's role in midfield?
I wanted Boyd/Robinson up front so it is good to hear it seemed to work.

Gallagher played in a holding midfield role, the same as he did in the first half at Inverness. He did well, breaking up play, retaining possession and giving it to others further forward. He made one or two forrays forward too - he’s good with the ball at his feet - and dribbled his way out of a couple of tricky places to win throw ins or corners. Good stuff. I was impressed with Buchanan. It’s a relief to have four established centre backs, giving us options to play two, three or all four of them depending on the circumstances. Suspensions and injuries are an occupational hazard back there and we needed cover. Feeling good about things and just hope we don’t lose anyone in the window, especially Halkett or Pittman!

Gallacher was ok like the rest of tbe squad, dont get me wrong it was 3 valuable points but we were not great against a very poor Brechin side that should be in a junior league never mind championship.
Pitch was heavy but some of our distribution was less than great, I hope that we improve for the weekend crucial game against Falkirk.
New signings settled well but I thought star man was Robinson.
Roll on Saturday a win against Falkirk then away tie to Celtic, hoppy days!
