I hope we pump this mob, today! #COLTS Well firstly Dundee Utd wont win this league they were on todays performance woeful. We, well we have slipped backed all over the park at the moment lack of interest players not believing in themselves lack of direction upfront and a consistant change of team personnel not leading to a settled squad playing week in week out. Gary Maley was in goal today, we will leave it at that shall we... However as Ive said 8th is the target and we should now comfortably get their.

Given you have already said that Caley will win it, I didn't expect you to suddenly switch "horse" but I think you are wrong on both.
And if United were woeful but whipped us 3-0; I'd say your expectation of 8th is not as guaranteed as you suggest.
We are at the start of a downward spiral; we have no real strikers & rely on too many goals coming from defenders & midfield. We will do well to get a point from Dumbarton on Tuesday

Not sure what game you were watching yesterday, but I don't think Dundee United were woeful. Second goal was very well played, and they have experience right through their team. It'll go down to the wire between them and St Mirren but we were comfortably outplayed today by a far better team, no shame in that. I wouldn't say the players lacked interest - considering half of them were struck down by the flu, including Alexander who had to go to A&E on Thursday, I'd say it was a pretty decent effort yesterday.

We have enough points to finish 8th (at least eighth) and were not going to not win another game . Agreed we are on downward spiral but every team goes the same pain. Dumbarton will indeed be challenging maybe not as much as your replies but challenging never the less.

You must be pretty insecure if you find my replies challenging. Not sure what we're agreeing on regarding Caley other than that I acknowledged your opinion...which is what this forum is about isn't it? People expressing an opinion and others agreeing or disagreeing?
But let's examine some facts...you say Caley will win the league... They are currently 16 points behind Dundee United & even if they win their game in hand on St Mirren will be 15 points behind them. Meanwhile you say we already have enough points to finish at least 8th.... And yet we are only 7 points ahead of 8th placed Dumbarton & 15 ahead of 9th place Falkirk. I think you can probably see where I'm going with this.... If Caley can catch & surpass both Dundee United & St Mirren (not to mention the other 4 teams currently above Caley) then by the same principle we can be caught Dumbarton & Falkirk.
In my opinion it is highly unlikely that Caley will win the league & also unlikely that we will finish lower than 8th... But I think there is more chance of the latter.

Caley will be lucky if they finish in the top four, it is a two horse race between St Mirren and Dundee Utd.
We're struggling with a combination of the flu hitting eight main players and the lack of games having not played for three weeks, and not even trained the last two with the players being too ill. We'll be fine once we're back fighting fit, but it is making it harder to stay in contention for a top four spot.

Caley will win league Dundee Utd and St Mirren will drop off. St Mirrens recent signing may help that cause. I hope we maintain momentum I havent seen a team much better than us overall it just depends on what Livi team turn up on the day and sometimes we havent. But roll on Dumbarton lets get 3 points.

I think I agree with you on the fact I haven't seen a team that is that much better than us, despite some of our scorelines... United away, Pars away & both games against St Midden... But our recent inactivity & illness will be the start of our drift down the table, granted a draw today will leapfrog us into 3rd but I think a draw today would be a superb result. I think we have peaked for this season & need to go into damage limitation mode to ensure the points on the board can be augmented gradually & sufficiently to keep us clear of trouble
