Well just when you thought you had seen it all. We are now charging £25 for either the whole team or £25 for a selected player on a pre seaso tea shirt, best thing is players know nothing about it...

This is true, I am friends with 2 of the players and they have no idea of this situation... desperation of money is it not (administration beckons lol) Well worrying times again -9 this Thursday forecast so that means the game on Sat postponed revenue again missing.

Given this shirt is £25 & cheaper than a replica shirt I hardly think the sale of it is going contribute anything significant to the club's coffers. So to suggest it is a vehicle to stave of financial meltdown is a bit of a stretch is it not?

Misdemeanour - I very rarely post on this forum, just popping in now and again to catch the thoughts of fans who don't post on TLR or P&B... I mean this sincerely when I say this: you post the biggest amount of pish I've seen. Constantly banging on about impending financial doom is nuts, worse than MCL's drivel back in the day on P&B (if anyone minds him).
Seriously, doesn't do anyone any good. Would you not agree that we are in our best financial position probably ever? If your prophecy comes true I'll put my hands up and say it but I suspect your stirring it.

What are you basing "we're in our best ever financial position on", afro?

Quite happy to be proven wrong but didn't we turn an operating profit for the three seasons prior to relegation? Obviously made a loss last year but if I recall, it was said at the time that those running the show were shouldering the blame and subsequently, the cost.
Also, John Ward seems like he has some degree of business sense about him, and doesn't seem a snakey cretin like Neil Rankine and his dodgy, porn star shirts. Obviously we've been stung more times than you could shake a stick at but law of averages should dictate that sometime, we will get someone in charge who isn't a shyster.
That's not to say that our current state of having no "real" income for nigh on a month isn't concerning, but I don't think there's a club outside the top flight who wouldn't be clenching their arse cheeks at that.
