To be played Tues 28th November now. Right after the QoS game, two really difficult games.

Ah well. It was looking good at half time... C'est la vie Matter of opinion. Against the run of play we scored the opening goal although to be fair the first ten minutes we were terrific. One thing to point out good to see some of the LYT in and great to see such a large travelling support. Back to the game it was fast and furious St Mirren edged the first half although behind but second half they were great outplayed and outclassed us should have been 5 or 6, I think we are still in the dressing room as we speak to be honest but as long as we finish 8th this season that will do for me.

Not really a matter of opinion, I wasn't there among the 180 (hardly consider that a large travelling support but I suppose it's about 20% of the core home support, so not that bad in the grand scheme) so my comment was based purely on two facts, the HT & FT scores. So without wishing to go full blown Benitez, the fact of the matter is, as I posted, it was looking good at half time.
I suspect StM will be in the title race all season.

Well its large considering what we normally take and if we are able to grow away support we could tip 200 plus which would be great. Again I guess from not being at the game on paper it would have looked promising at half time but the harsh reality is we scored against run of play and you felt it was just a matter of time before StM equalised. Still a cracking game though despite the loss. Roll on Falkirk this Saturday.

Thought we showed great character in the first half but have to hold our hands up and admit that we are not yet at the level of St Mirren. Think Hoppy has done brilliant this year, especially considering the difference in budget compared with other teams in the top 4. Support was brilliant, up there with the hibs game earlier in the season imo. Just wish there was some way we could show it at home games as well as away.

Great point about home support and atmosphere. Almondvale as it is now known as "the library" (by some) because its that quiet. In fact where I sit has been designated the "quiet coach" (all in good humour no malice) I did put a post in for a drummer as the staff at LFC have bought a drum out of tgeir own pockets but it was not posted here for some reason. If anyone knows someone who can play the drum to help bring some much meeded atmosphere similar to what we experience at away games they simply have to contact Livi's Kitman.

I've been to all but 4 games this year, (Brechin, Inverness, Falkirk in the cup and TNS) and the atmosphere at home games is abysmal. We create a fair amount of noise at away games but at home I don't think we're helped much. Around the dugout areas there is no one singing at all. I think the club would do well to encourage fans to sing by creating designated songs for those who want to create an atmosphere. I know this point has been made numerous times throughout the year but there's been no improvment whatsoever in atmosphere. Only thing missing this year imo. I feel like there needs to be a supporters group made to replace the dbm.

I've convinced a few mates to come to the games but they've said exactly the same, atmosphere at away games in far better than home. Genuinely think the best option is to form another supporters group.

There would have to be a designated singing section at home games. The reason the atmosphere is better at away games is because we are all sitting together in one area. At QoS the other day we were all fitted in to a tiny section which made it even better. Last night we were well beaten but it was heartening that our guys kept singing even when we went 3-1 down. The fans are appreciating the amount of effort this team puts in to every game.

Agree completely, hope someone contacts the club regarding a singing section as it's only going to benefit the team and fans.

The away fans always create a better atmosphere, that has always been the case, and every team is the same. It was also good seeing our players clapped at the end and coming over to the fans to thank us for our support. We were well beaten but the effort was appreciated and they've been punching well above their weight this season with the small budget Hoppy has.
Just watched the highlights on the St Mirren OS, as much as they were the better team we scored an og for the 2nd, with Lithgow clearing the ball off the line and hitting Alexander on his back and going back into our net, and still have no idea why they got their penalty for the third, can't see any of our players touching the St Mirren player who ran forward and fell. Can't complain at the result though, we were doing well keeping them out but it was a backs to the wall effort at times.
We have a stronger starting eleven than that and we wont play any teams as good as St Mirren, so I still think we'll do well and finish in the top four, maybe third or fourth, looks like St Mirren and Utd will be the top two.

Folk should just make their own 'atmosphere', if they feel that the existing 'atmosphere' isn't as 'good' as they want it to be.
The original DBM were all about just that.
Unfortunately the all inclusive and friendly outlook in the beginning kind of got hijacked by a few clowns and, at least looking at it from the outside, it became an angry, predominantly underage, drinking club that sometimes went to the football to annoy other fans by drunkenly swearing out of tune 'songs'.

Think the only option is to introduce a new supporters club to replace the dbm, reinstating the all inclusive philosophy back. Livingston are the only team I’ve been to this year where there’s been no atmosphere at all. Away games are amazing and I think that if someone approached the club regarding a singing section, many of those who travel and sing at away games would want to join this section.

As an outsider who has always sat fairly near the original DBM, I would concur with this. Even now the group that congregates where the DBM used to be (they look largely the same people as those who comprised the DBM towards the end of its lifespan) seem to be awash with angry people that cheer loudly and proudly when things are going well but berate all players who have the temerity to misplace a pass or fail to defend properly or who can't get their shot on target.

At least make a start with even the drum that has been bought by the players themselves for our use

Where can we find the drum? I knew the dbm had one before but I never knew that the club had specifically bought one. Also, every game I’ve been to I’ve tried to help with the atmosphere however I’ve either been told to be quiet or completely ignored. I’m thinking about xontactong the club to instate a designated singing section in the main stand to try and boost the atmosphere a bit. Would like any help on finding this drum however.
