Thanks very much to all who attended. Thought it was very productive and we got through everything we wanted too.
Please see a summary of what was discussed below. All smaller points discussed have also been noted.
Committee Roles to be decidedNew role of treasurer to be formed. Chairman, Captain & Vice Captain to have more responsibility. Committee designed to work together and ease pressure on secretary role. Role responsibilities to be shared (open to amendment). Please see attachment for breakdown of roles:
Voting procedure to be decidedThread on forum Friday 14th July. You can nominate yourself for any role. If you are nominated, you need to accept by end of Thursday 20th July. No need to be seconded. Voting to then take place over the weekend with committee confirmed on Thursday 27th July.
Fixture Update Bowman has been penciling in fixtures in the background and has booked in 18 games so far.
Finance UpdateChris Love has set up new GS account which will allow us to transfer payments online. New treasurer will provide finance update to the team when asked/required and finance document will detail all incomings and outgoings.
Original GS Bank accountDean to close the account and transfer the £7.71 to the new GS account that Chris Love has set up. Existing club funds and membership fees will also be added to this so we have a base to start from.
Season player membership£10 membership as usual. No pay, no play. Pay either in cash or to
Acc No. 10867752 Sort Code 831605Playing timeAll players to get 30 minutes minimum regardless of game/score. Manager to ensure this is enforced. £5 for starters, £3 for subs of 30 minutes of more. Aim to bring the fun back rather than to win every game.
Fringe Festival night out/POTYUnlikely to be able to have a POTY, but we can look to merge this with a GS day out. Day at the festival suggested. New Chairman to organise day out and voting/awards for last seasons winners.
Inverness away day tripNew chairman to organise this one also. Livingston play away to Inverness on 16th September. No GS game on this day so suggestion is to get the train up, Livi game and train home. Would be great to get as many involved as possible.
Thursday night 5sTo be organised by new captain. GS players first come first served week on week, however branch out to friends should we be struggling. No training to take place.
Equipment UpdateAs mentioned, we are in a good place with kit, we just need to ensure this is looked after. Suggestion is to find all old kits (should be around 3 sets) and potentially sell these off if possible either to teams or to players. Kits are not used and funds will be put straight into GS account.
Use of the ForumSuggestion to keep forum as hub for a) fixture list b) weekly match details. New secretary can choose how they get names on a weekly basis (text/fb etc) however this is to be uploaded to the forum so players can see all details on a weekly basis.
Recruitment of New PlayersAll players to continue to ask around and look for Livingston fans who are keen to come along and play for the team. We need to build on this as we've lost a few players over the last few years.
New home pitchXcite membership for the year sorted and in Dave's name currently. Ideally forge a relationship with one of the new 4G pitches, however ideally look to keep home fixtures in or around Livingston. 3G preferable, however grass pitches to be booked if 3G unavailable.
AOB1.
Attend more games as a team. Whilst we can't all attend games, players to choose what games we can do and all attend together where possible
2.
GS group on Facebook. Once players have paid their £10, they will be added to the group on facebook.
Cheers,
Tom
