I'm going to get a ticket for the tv & meal deal at the stadium bar for this. No idea what to expect from Crusaders but it is a wee break from the pressure of the league and should be a good night out don watching it at the Lions' Den bar, i'm looking forward to it.

Friday never a good night for me to go to Footy whether live or on TV.
Hope you enjoy it, hope they raise their game enough to make it a good night but I suspect Crusaders, as NI league leaders, will be too strong for us, I suspect they will be as good as Killie or Partick or QoS , that sort of level.

This will be the first competitive game since the Livi Lions Supporters Club was formed in back 2002 that we have not officially attended by organised coach travel. However, there will be numerous LLSC members at the game as well as many other Livi fans who've made the journey to Belfast by car, boat and air and we hope they all cheer the team on the very best they can tonight! Our best wishes go out to the team as they attempt to beat The Crusaders over at Seaview this evening! The game is live on TV on Premier Sports and there will also be live match updates at twitter.com/LiviFCOfficialCome on Livi!!

What a way to win! Thought we were much better in the second half. Hopkins subs and change of shape turned the Game. We should've put the game to bed if it was not for some selfish play when a pass was the option.
But a win is a win! Well done the Lions!

Superb Performance!

not the best of games, the substitutions were long overdue and made a big difference, the sooner we stop hitting high balls to our two wee forwards the better as we can play good football on the ground especially when we have Mullin and Cadden playing wide, keeper was hot and cold but understandable as not had much game time but well done on some great stops

Like Arsene Wenger, I did not see it.... But I completely agree with the idea that we stop pumping high balls up to wee forwards. We have already shown this season that we play decent stuff on the deck and our wee forwards are more than capable of taking the ball in with their feet. Mullen is good in the air for his height but is more effective when he has the ball under control and taking players on or shooting. We brought in Orr initially and then Allen as options, presumably for high balls but in the matches I've seen them come on as subs they were invariably out wide when a high ball went into the box and were never used as target men for the high ball forward. Orr hasn't been missed since going back to his official club (Morton?) and Allen has so far done nothing to justify his inclusion in the squad (unless he did something last night, which as I have said, I didn't see)

Mullin and Cadden were game changers, totally different game when they came on. Yeah thought Maley did well, some fine saves and was very brave when he went into the post, also made a save when one of their players was following through with a swinging boot too and didn't flinch. Thought their keeper should've been booked for a studs up challenge into Buchanan?, we were offside but the challenge was still dangerous and could've seriously injured our player.
Some ending to the game, the emotional rollercoaster ride in the last few minutes when we were looking good for the win then they equalized and extra time looked likely, then up pops Pittman the hitman to score the winning goal in injury time. It was a brilliant feeling getting that winner.

We need to start getting ball down and playing short passes to our midfield again , byrne is probably our most technical player and the all going over him and miller and pitman head poor to watch. Great result none the less and showed great character. Really impressed with the manager this season

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the conduct of the so-called DBM at the Crusaders game. Apparently, they were drunkenly fighting amongst themselves and even barged over a little girl at one point. They're a total embarrassment to themselves and the football club and they'd be doing everyone a favour if they packed in their stupid and immature 'Ultra' behaviour or even better just stayed away all together!
