Peterhead aren't up to much this season but we need to be on our game and get stuck in about them right from the off. If we score first we'll win this by 2 or 3 goals, if they score first I still think we'll win but only by a single goal.
Mon the Lions, lets get the 3 points and see how results go elsewhere.

Looking forward to this one. A long way to go but I'm hoping it'll be worth it. I fancy us to win it by a couple, perhaps 2-0 or 3-1. Glad to see that smiley Miller's ridiculous red card was rescinded and that means he's available for tomorrow. I assume Morgyn Neill will replace the suspended Lithgow or maybe Longridge and a change of formation. If we can use Mullin and Cadden properly from out wide, I'd fancy Buchanan and Mullen to fill their boots most weeks. With Pittman and Miller supporting and following up, we've got goals from all over. I also fancy a few headed goals this season from Crighton, Halkett and Lithgow. Back to tomorrow - Rory McAllister is a scoring machine so I'll go for us to win 3-1 and fail to keep a clean sheet again. Not looking forward to the long drive home, unless we've won!

I'm Making the short trip from Aberdeen today. First livi game in a while for me. From results and what iv read we could score a couple but I'd love to get a clean sheet. Even in the games we've won comfortably we haven't kept a clean sheet. Predicting us to win 3-1

Important win on the back of the poor defeat at Methil and to do it by coming from behind says something about the attitude. Well done to the team on the result, it would be good to hear how they performed.
The Alloa result was a bonus but unfortunately Brechin snatched another close win

We were far from convincing today but to get the win was important.
Started so slowly and just couldn't keep hold of the ball. Peterhead were dominating the opening to the game and Poor defending allowed them to get the goal from the corner.
We grew into the game and Danny scored a really good goal to level it up.
The rest of the game was scrappy and we seemed content to play on the break and we got the 2nd after a good break, although we made hard work of finishing the chance.
Iv not been to a livi game in a long time but one thing I just couldn't understand was why we would pass it around only to then launch it forward. Mullen and Buchanan are not target men. You can't pass it to goal every time but launching it forward gave possession away more often than it worked.
3 points were the most important thing today and the team got them.

Alloa and Brechin have been scraping out results like this for weeks so was good to see we can do it too. I called it on only winning by a goal if they scored first, it was always going to be difficult for us if they went ahead.
Danny is having a great season, also like how he is following in to score when the keeper saves Buchanan's shots, he's really shown maturity in his play this season. Also for a wee guy he can win a lot of headers, times his jumps perfectly.
Last two games have been away to tough places, so can't complain too much about the performances, we'll beat those teams at home playing a lot better football, our home performances have been pretty convincing.

Timing his jump and heading have always been two of Mullen's strengths, often winning it in the air against bigger guys but that shouldn't result in it becoming a "tactic" that is used constantly.
I made no secret of my lack of confidence in Hoppy as manager before the season started but despite that I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. He has pleasantly surprised me with most of the players he has brought in and some of the football we have played but he continues to undermine his "positives" by having them play high balls up to Mullen and Buchanan, then bring on the likes of Allan (and previously Orr) only to start playing on the deck, with the tall guys invariably ending up out wide when the cross comes in and is too high for which ever smaller player is in the box.
