I'm really looking forward to this one. For the first time in a long while, a Livi manager faces a dilemma over the squad because there is a bench full of players capable of coming on and making a difference. Dale Carrick seems to be back too, so someone on the bench last week is going to be sitting in the stands this week. I know it's strange being at Hanpden with so few people in attendance but I like the fact that our travelling support is usually vocal and supportive. A good win tomorrow and things are set up nicely for the next league game away at Alloa - when a large, noisy, positive travelling support could make all the difference in such a small ground. A win for Livi at Hampden - looks like we'll score lots this year overall but look like losing some too - so I'm going for 3-1.

I expect QP to sit in and try to stifle us, they will probably be hard to break down... But I think we'll keep the winning streak going

I'm led to believe that the Queens Park are a shocking side this season so a good few goals at one end and a clean sheet at the other are the order of the day.

Well , did not see that one coming. On a big pitch we continued to play ( punt) the ball through the middle and only got behind their full backs on a couple of occasions. With two out and out wingers in our squad I would have thought it would have been tailor made for them. Obviously different thinking on the management side. What is more worrying than the defeat is lack of a plan B. Went a goal behind and had lack of ideas to recover. Disappointed but I think we will still win more than we lose.

Not the best performance from us today but think we deserved at least a draw. Goal that got called offside looked very harsh. Don't know why the second half we missed the midfield out just big long balls

He only does what Martindale tells him to do. What's Martindale's plan B?

Looked like we expected to win without putting the effort in. Not even much huffing and puffing either. Will win more than we lose this season but need to be putting in a shift every week for our so called quality to shine through. Also, it's daft to be playing at that ground. Big empty nonsense.

First of all, what a great stadium, what great prices, a concession at £2 thats what I'm talking about. OK the food was expensive but quality. Not a bad away support usual suspects in attendance. Free parking right at the door, brilliant. Fabulous playing surface, big pitch, but that is where it ends Im afraid. We lacked composure, desire, drive, clueless in attack. Dare I mention Danny Mullen WTF is Randall and Hopkirk playing him on his own up front, you just blow at the boy and he falls over.
Celtic under 20`s come knocking at our door on Saturday play like we did on Saturday and we will get hammered, however expecting a good crowd though away support of course.

Yeah Mullen up front is fine if he's being supported from midfield but he wasn't, and was far too isolated. Pittman and Buchanan needed to be further forward and the wing players making runs to hit the bye line and get balls across the six yard box. Mullen has scored a few goals when we've whipped balls for him to get on the end of inside the six yard box but we didn't deliver any in this game and had everything being played in front of their defence. Basically we were relying on another Pittman or Mullen wonder strike but our shooting wasn't up to much either and any shots we did have went over the bar.
Just have to write it off as a bad day and hope we make up for it with a big performance against Alloa.

Jonsnow has a point. At this level the defence is as likely to score for you as your own players are. getting the defence turns and facing the wrong way, ie towards their own goal should be our basic game plan. Get to that line and get balls in, even with none of our players there it is still an attacking option.

We scored against Airdrie like that, Miller put it in from the bye line and Boateng put it into his own net, puts pressure on defenders when you whip balls in like that. Only decent cross we put in against QP was Crighton's for Mullin's disallowed goal, and even then it was from the diagonal. This game was the only one we've not managed to get down the wings, for some reason we mainly played through the centre making it easy for QP to defend against us.
