What's happening to the lad seems he's getting left out of the squad

Given your previous comments about him, why are you so bothered?
Perhaps he picked up an injury, perhaps he's going to be getting U20 games rather than sitting on his bahookie.

If I was a club looking to buy young Knoxy, if want to see him play real matches rather than bounce games or training sessions. As it stands, he's hardly featured so I imagine those clubs that were genuinely keen on him will have cooled their interest. After all, if he's not commanding a first team slot for us in League One, he's unlikely to be in such high demand for bigger and better outfits. I'd hoped he'd be given a run out, even from the bench, from time to time so that we could tempt clubs to buy him. But if he's not playing, he's unlikely to command a decent fee. Maybe he'll get a chance at Hampden next week. If he's as good as we think he is, he should be featuring for us routinely - irrespective of his age.

We've a strong bench though, Watt only gets a few minutes from the bench and he's a better player than Knox, and Mullin didn't even get a game yesterday either, or Sinclair. Currie has also dropped out of the picture.

The real Knox question is surely is he good enough yet? If he had gone to the Huns then I have no doubt he would be in their U20 squad rather than their first team squad.
I'm more disappointed that Currie seems to have dropped out of contention. His few sub appearances looked promising and I thought he might kick on at the lower level but.we have brought guys in that are more accomplished and more experienced players so it's not entirely surprising

It would appear that Knoxy is away back down to Old Trafford this week for another trial, this time under the gaze of Mr Mourinho. Whatever the case or the outcome of that trial, I think we can assume that he won't be a Livi player by the time the transfer window closes next week. If he can move on to better things and further his career (he clearly has talent that could be developed by great coaching) then good luck to him. Thinking about it as a Livi fan, it's crucial that we get some cash to make up for the shortfall in gate receipts that the club will have to endure this season in League One.

Maybe we can do a deal where they get Knox and we get Schweinsteiger on loan...
