I suspect a bumpy landing after flying so high last week...former players could hold the key... Hopefully our ex-Airdrie boys swing it for us

A hard fought 3 points which probably should've been a lot easier after going two goals up. Can't complain though we're playing good attacking football and knocking in the goals.
Bring on Stenny.

yes it was hard fought and could/should have scored more, dont know if Hopkins is telling them to sit back when in front but it does not suit our style of play, attack is the best form of defence, great support came through and supporters bus was nearly full (2 short ha ha)lets keep backing the team

It was only hard work due to slack defending for the goals conceded, those apart we were streets ahead of a poor Airdrie side.

Decent performance from the Lions today. Roll on Stenhousemuir

The most pleasing thing for me so far is that I think we've won these first two games without ever really looking brilliant. We've scored at good times, we've taken our chances and despite a couple of daft lapses of concentration, we've looked much better than both Stranraer and Airdrie.
I think Pittman has been excellent in these two games - he seems to have an extra drive going forward and that extra body is causing opponents no end of grief. Two goals last week and probably should have scored before Mullen tapped in the rebound.

It's certainly been an inspired start to the league season so far!
Long may it continue!

Still losing silly goals at the back but if we can keep out scoring the opposition I'll take that every time

Agreed regarding Pittman but to be fair the keeper made a decent block and credit to Mullen for following in on the rebound. Pittman was unlucky with his second half header off the bar and I think it was him who was at the back post when Miller forced the og
