I'm not trying to be overly negative but absolute horrendous performance last night. Does Hopkin have a clue? I personally don't know, burchill didn't and I don't think he does either. I appreciate we can't get mourinho but maybe a manager from a lower league that's got his team playing well and won leagues. I.e. League two or something or a guy from league two or three in England
I just think that we're playing awful football with a manager that doesn't truly know our best team and can't get the tactics right. Don't get me wrong cadden is a good signing but apart from that I see hardly any positives between now and last season. And yes I'm a realist and realise we've dropped a division so didn't expect messi. But because we're a small club would have hoped we made a couple of good signing opposed to many free transfers from airdrie etc that only stacks the wage bill up but doesn't add to the overall quality. And one thing I know is without quality we ain't winning nothing and that includes league one
I hope I'm proved wrong guys I really do as I'm a Livi fanatic but I'm not overly confident going into the new season. Finally these are just my opinions I'm not saying I'm right or wrong. Interested to hear others thoughts?
but being a season ticket holder I think we're entitled to say what we want

I'm not a Hopkin fan and I was hoping we'd get another manager after he relegated us but we didn't and i'm giving him a chance with his stamp properly on his own team this season, he's assembled them and has now had a pre season under them to get them fit and playing how he wants them.
I actually think we've shown signs of a decent League One team, playing some nice passing football and have played all but one game against teams in higher leagues, so until we start playing teams in our own league I don't think he can be judged.

Think that's a bit harsh to be honest , we have signed some good players in cadden Byrne miller imo. They are still gelling as a team and have played against very tough opposition every game near enough

Been quite pleased with what I have seen so far considering it's a new team ...the two games I have been to so far against st midden and Ayr ,we were unlucky in both games . If they continue to play they way they have been I can see us having a decent season ,Let's all get behind Hopkins and cheer the team on

It's a new squad, unrecognisable starting 11 and a new formation. We've not even played a league game yet and it's still only July. Let's give the manager and the players some generous time to see how we get on in the league. Pre-season, including this cup, is mostly about getting the team playing a certain way and getting match sharpness. Let's have this discussion again after the first round of league matches, in October or whenever. July is way too soon to be negative. Let's do what we agreed at the forum recently. Back the manager, trust his judgement until the results suggest otherwise and support the team wholeheartedly. This has been an uneventful pre-season so far, unusually, and we've brought in some good players. That's a mm excellent start! We have a very promising season ahead - and I've not been so optimistic for a number of years.
