I hope the players have names on their jerseys so that we can recognise the new guys!

I've never particularly liked Dunfermline. I hope we pump this mob!

I wish the team well today and this coming season! Gubbed 5-1. The odd flash of inspiration, but we're going to need a lot of luck if this team is to bounce back to the Championship, especially with Martindale and Hopkins in the dug-out as nothing seems to have changed down there.

Liked the look of number 6 for us today Sean bryne , also Knox showed some quality touches. Got to keep positive it's a new team and its there first game together

I'm positive.... positive we will struggle to stay up with the current management team.... why was the only unused sub a triallist (according to the OCS) surely triallists are invited along to try them out?

History tells us that preseason friendlies don't tell us very much about anything in particular. It's about fitness and getting players to know each other. Lots of new guys yesterday and there were some fundamental issues. But it's good to have a preseason without embargoes or fines or other controversies. We had a decent run of friendlies last season but it didn't do us any favours in the real season. I also remember players not liking especially impressive initially, much like yesterday, but becoming much better as the season continued. Does anyone remember Didier Santini making his debut away at Kilmarnock - awful - and then became one of the best defenders we've ever had? I'm not suggesting the guys yesterday are like him, but they're playing together for the first time in our team (even if some of them know each other). I thought Knox looked good - shame he's off. A couple of trialists looked good enough too. We've got Pittman and Sinclair to come in to the midfield. Lots to look forward to. Overall - tough preseason game on Tuesday and then another championship team the following Saturday. Tough going but not the standard we'll have every week in League One.

Hopefully our defence is still getting into working a system together because they were all over the place.
Cadden and Watt looked like they'll do well for us and Knox was impressive. I think dropping down to League One will give him more of a chance to develop as well, going by what I saw of him in this game he might just be as good as all the hype I read.
