Looks like Livi are back in court defending a case next week. More lawyers fees being spend. We could buy a lawyers practice at this rate.

Anybody know what this pertains to exactly?
Don't think I've heard of a case against that company before..

We weren't told anything about this in the clubs recent State of the Nation statements.
Open and honest?
Who is on the operating committe a nd what are there responsibilities?

From what I can see in researching the term "continued options hearing" - it would seem this is an ongoing case which is designed to reach an agreement before going to a full blown case. It is entirely possible that this is a "legacy" case although it could be something the current lot have fallen foul of.... without details its impossible to tell. It could also be very minor. My question is why is Jimbo searching through the docket of cases?

What has the Livi Trust got to say about the clubs situation? Are they involved of the secretive operating committee? Did they ever find out what the club did with the fans 50k?

Why don't you go on their web site/message boards and ask?

Good idea, Auldnick. I did and was told to stop asking.
I think the lack of openness is appalling.

If that is your experience then I agree with you. At one point, I think last year, there was a change of chairman at LFL who promised to keep everyone up to date and he did for a few months as the Trust tried to mediate between the Club and Gordon McD. But as they often say in footballing circles "it's all gone quiet over there"

I didn't see the comment myself but I understand that andylion was told by the clubs official Facebook page to stop requesting details of the clubs operating committee.

I'm not on Facebook, but I would urge all who are to keep asking the same question & quote the home page of the LFL official website which has a "documents" section complete with the phrase "We are an open and transparent group."

What's the big secret about who's in the committee, is it Rankine, Massone and Flynn?

Its probably a bunch of ex-cons & the way folk on here would react to that it would just cause another storm in a teacup.

Good idea, Auldnick. I did and was told to stop asking. I think the lack of openness is appalling. If that's true then it's shocking you were asked to stop asking. I am sure many Livi fans will gloss over it, but when it goes belly up don't say we didn't tell you so. Wonder how the court case went this week?

To be clear, it was on the Club's Facebook page that I was told to leave it until the Club's lawyers had sorted things out. I'd be even more disappointed if LFL are implicated in this.

So you asked for the names of who makes up the operational committee & were told to stop asking because the Club's lawyers have to sort it out? Why? Is it not a matter of record (somewhere) who the operations committee are?
