McDougall was part of the board that won the case to stop Nixon getting what money he was owed, why should he get his when Nixon wasn't given his loan until Livi is able to do so.

If I recollect correctly I think there was a separate deal done with McDougall much later and he accepted monthly payments for ten years. The club apparently defaulted on those. Hence the court case.

In answer to the question posted at the top regarding the board not paying what it owes... Who says they aren't paying? They probably haven't paid in relation to this as it was a court case but who says they aren't going to pay now that they have lost the case?
What else are they NOT telling us? They aren't telling us what killed the dinosaurs, are you going to blame them for that as well?

Has Gordon McDougall been paid what Livi is due him then? How much are/were Livi due him? How much is Livi due to Ged Nixon? Do the owners/financial backers of EQHQ nightclub have an interest in Livi? Has the court case with the receptionist been settled and if so what was the outcome? What happened to the Trust's 50k? Who employed Martindale? What was he originally employed as? Who sits on the operating committee? What are their roles? Who is in charge of the day to day affairs of the club? When will info on season tickets be announced? When will info on next seasons strip be unveiled? What provision is in place to stop further debt accrued by the operating committee over the coming season being repayable on demand should there be/when there is another fall out? Why was a next generation 4G pitch promised for next season then now not happening? What exactly is going on with the arms length company that Gordon Ford was overseeing with regards to purchasing the ground from the council and leasing it back to the club? Why does no one sign there name against these "official" statements? Why are there still more questions than answers?

Because it doesn't matter how many answers you get you can still ask why?
Stop whinging about it on here, write to the club & ask them directly if you are that bothered.
In fact away and read the open letter because it answers a fair number of your questions

This again backs up what I said on another thread. This board is trying to make changes for the better. This is the most positive statement to come out from Livingston in a long time.
Theflashingblade - as auldnick said read the letter it answers some of your questions. Also it tells you there will be a fans forum that you can ask the rest at a later date.

Regardless to who FTB is they raise some good questions. Livi FC are racking up debt by the second and Livi fans most of whom have been thru 2 administrations don't seem to care. Who is running Livi FC these days? Anyone on here know? |

Read the statement Jimbo, it. Claims they (the club itself) have turned a small profit over the last 3 years... Accounts have to be lodged with the appropriate authorities... Does that sound like "racking up debt" - no, it sounds like managing any debt.

No mention of the hinted at 'move' that the lad who was in the boardroom recently said we'd hear more about soon, or something like that.
