Martindale and Hopkin should send us out to wipe the floor with Stranraer! Buchanan and White must start and with Pittman running the centre of the park it's just the back line to worry about.

Stanton has been impressive lately, he should be a key player in these play off games. Agree that White must play up front with Buchanan and not in midfield. Read Ben Gordon may be back for this game, though perhaps he'd be better waiting for the return one on Saturday just to be safe, hopefully we'll be a few goals up and he can get a run out to get his match fitness up before playing Ayr in the finals.

Livi 1 up in 10 mins but it took Stranraer just 7 more to turn it around and then get a 3rd on 40 mins. I feel sorry for all of you who have travelled all that way for what appears to be a humiliation. Something better change in the second half because if this ends in a defeat of 2 or more goals there will be less than 500 in attendance on Saturday

Auldnick - spot on. There will be no hiding place on Saturday for players and "management team" unless they come back at least on level terms. Home form has been dire this season so it ain't looking good to recover any deficit.

It's not looking good but there's a long way to go still. Why would Hopkin (Martindale?) drop Fotheringham and Telford? It's as though the clueless clowns in the dug out are deliberately throwing the game. Come on Livi don't listen to a word they're saying and get into them!

5-2 now. Total humiliation and disgrace for the club.

Hopkin has been a disaster from day 1 . We more than deserve to go down. Had to witness some of the worst football ever this season.

I hope Martindale, Hopkin, Rankine, the match day announcer and club lawyer are happy at what they've reduced our club to - an absolute shambolic laughing stock.

I said from the start that Hopkins and Martindale where a joke and was shot down for it , the pair are as clueless as the A-holes that appointed them.

Mismanagement from the top down for sure but bottom line is the players are simply not good enough. They have been living on borrowed time for most of the season.
Last season and this we have had 3 and 2 "big clubs" and next season Dundee United and Dunfermline at least will be in there. Hibs could still be there and there is also the possibility of Kilmarnock coming down and Ayr going up.... It's going to be a tough league for sure with Saints and Morton in there as well as QoS and either Raith or Falkirk.
I tell you what, they might just have hatched a plan to go down this season because they would almost certainly have come last next season when you think of the teams that are going to be there or could be there. If they can keep the best players they could challenge for promotion and maybe win it.....
Second Tier Next Season In No Particular Order Dundee United Dunfermline QoS Dumbarton St Mirren Morton Ayr or Stranraer 3 from Hibs, Falkirk, Raith and a top tier side which looks likely to be Kilmarnock
We wouldn't win too many of those games...

Cole coming on as sub and the ball deflecting off him into our net just topped it off, what a joke Livi are. Bloody embarrassing to get humped 5-2 and it could've been more.
Can't see us coming back from that, but we at least need to show some passion in the return game, in what is now a nothing to lose game, we're as good as relegated so get stuck in and give it everything.

It sounded awful.

We scored twice? More than we normally get in 90 mins.

Any Positives?
None whatsoever. Can honestly say in all the years I've followed the club, that was the worst performance I've ever witnessed. We just CANNOT defend in the slightest. Absolutely no complaints about the result, Stranraer outplayed us the entire game. In fact, there was a Halkett (I think) header off the line in the last minute which leaves us with a glimmer of hope.
Fair play to Marc McCallum coming over to the crowd at the end and apologising for the 'f**king embarrassing' performance. There seems to be real discontent amongst the players; White and Buchanan constantly berating the defenders after every goal we lose, with the defenders themselves turning looking at each other, deciding who was to blame.
Just got to pray that we can perform miracles on Saturday, but after last night, I just can't see any way out of this.

There doesn't seem to be the same togetherness and camaraderie in the squad this season. There also seems to be a culture of some players getting a game no matter what and others who rarely get a chance. I don't think I need to name names here. Then there are the loan players who know they will be off no matter what. It is the role of management to keep players feeling happy and valued. I think back to previous seasons and things like the dressing room videos posted up and various pranks they would play on each other. I watched them at the player of the year and some of them sat looking their mobiles instead of chatting to each other. What goes on off the pitch all week is as important as what happens during the game.
Maybe I've got this all wrong but it's my gut feeling this season.

I hope Martindale, Hopkin, Rankine, the match day announcer and club lawyer are happy at what they've reduced our club to - an absolute shambolic laughing stock. Rumours abound that our very own "King of ching" is being lined up to replace Hopkins if/when it all goes belly up. Dark(er) days ahead if true.

I posted before that the club did not act professionally as management or players or admin. I will now go further, they abuse the term professional. The amount of preparation time our team could have spent getting ready for this in comparison to the other team was unlimited, how can a pro side go down so badly to a team that has nae more than shed for a ground? I think that the lot need to have a deep dark look at themselves.

Whilst I think that Martindale/Hopkin have to take the brunt of the blame for the shambles last night, the players have to take a long, hard look at themselves. Without singling out individual players, some were sauntering about without a care in the world as soon as the fourth went in.
The whole situation is just a mess.
