Pointless game for us; however you want to interpret that statement.

We've got two free matches to get our heads and tactics right for the playoffs.
Don't clap them on to the park, get wired in about them and remind ourselves that we're good enough to be in this division.

Yeah for momentum going into the play off games it would be good to get a couple of wins but i'd be happy enough to see us rest up our main players for this game (no point playing 3 games in a week and having them knackered for the play offs next Wed night) and sticking in some fringe players like Mullen, Mullin, Currie, Sheerin, Neill, and give Knox a decent run out 2nd half.

Only problem is I'm not sure we are good enough to be in this division

Will Martindale and Hopkin have a go or will we lie down meekly?

No doubt we'll carry on the trend of winning 1-0 at half time, before giving the lead up in the second half.
Will be giving this one a miss, if the players can't be bothered as shown on Saturday, neither can I.
1-4.

Hopefully that'll be the confidence boost we'll need for the play-offs!

Defended too deep for my liking but worked very hard in the last 15-20 to close out the game; excellent goal. Showed enough to suggest we can survive

Buchanan should've made it a comfortable win with the chances he had in the second half but there were some good performances by our players and good to see us just clearing the ball out our box taking no chances, especially that one when McCallum was running out and our out field player took responsibility to clear it to f**k out of the stadium. Something Cole failed to do several times when he cost us goals.
Should be a good confidence boost going into the play offs.

Halkett came as a centre back and showed last night it was his position, not right back. For the first time in many weeks, I enjoyed the game, because of the player commitment and effort. Nice to beat Rangers for the first time since our SPL days.

Surprised to hear the result! Well done to the players!
Doesn't make up, for me, for last Saturdays second half capitulation though.

Nice to beat Rangers for the first time since our SPL days. Could've swore Oldco died in their liquidation and Newco came along in 2012, i'm not pandering to their revisionism of history compounded by the SFA/SPL doing a deal allowing their history to be carried on as if it didn't happen. Bad enough our club sucked up to them big time with the GoH and music choice without us fans doing the same. Agree with you on Halkett though, should be kept at CB, and keep Cole away from there in the play offs for goodness sake.

Halkett was outstanding last night but he's not been too shabby at right back either, he's been the best at playing rb that we've had in ages
