Must win.
Can see Dumbarton managing a result against Morton, therefore it is imperative that we win to prevent nullifying the great result at Falkirk last week and losing ground on Dumbarton.

They are getting points at home but got a good feeling about this weekend and think Morton will beat them, and we'll put a few past Alloa to go 8th.
If big Shags scores three goals against Alloa will they give him player of the month for April?

What do you mean by another nervous display, when was the last time it was one of those?
Don't think it's the time of the season for the players to be nervous, we're still in the nothing to lose here so lets just go for it stage. Once we get past Dumbarton or are at the stage where we just need to win this and we're safe, that's when it gets nervy.

Knowing that our defence has a habit of self-destructing, I reckon I'll have a few nerves going on. We need to make sure we stay switched on if we take the lead because we have at times had a tendency to conceed straight after we score. We are certainly good enough to beat Alloa, and I think we will. The events and result from last week should give us a lift.

Only 924 in attendance. Less possession than Alloa. Only 3 shots on target. No ground gained on Dumbarton.
Anything to be concerned about?

Only 924 in attendance. Less possession than Alloa. Only 3 shots on target. No ground gained on Dumbarton. Anything to be concerned about? Yes. I am concerned about the refereeing standards in this country. I had more or less accepted the draw until that penalty incident. Sheerin was fouled well into the box. The ref pointed to the spot and sent the Alloa player off. We were all waiting for the kick to be taken when the ref moved everyone back into the D for a free kick. I can only assume his mind was changed by the linesman. I have been told Sheerin may have been fouled twice. If he was then he did not even stumble and no whistle blew. He kept running into the box and was tripped. An unbelievable decision that could cost us dear. I keep notes on referees and for those who can remember back a couple of seasons when Livi played QoS at home you might recall a penalty being given to QoS for the ball hitting Coll Donaldson on the face. Guess who the ref was that day. Uh huh - yer man Alan Muir. Some are saying, penalty apart, Alloa didn't deserve to lose. Well I can think of several games this season that we deserved points from and were denied for some flukey reason so I would not have felt the slightest bit guilty if we took three today. Time for the famous saying "it all evens itself out in the end" to kick in.

It was a poor effort against a poor Alloa who have not conceded a goal at our place this season. And we didn't really trouble their keeper, he made a couple of saves but they were easy enough.for me the big question is why we set up not to lose the game...it was Alloa, we should have been taking the game to them and running them ragged. Hill played most of the match carrying an injury and strolled it.
We looked like we could create something when Stanton ran at them, or when we nicked the ball and ran at the defence but too often we played high balls to Buchanan, a player who is much better facing goal than with his back to it.
It looked a clear pen to me but we might have missed it so while it is incredibly frustrating that we didn't get the chance to score from the spot, we really didn't do enough in the rest of the match. We lowered ourselves to their level and missed a chance to throw the pressure on Dumbarton.

Utter garbage are livi still à pro team ,what do they do at training, heading aimless balls into opposing half , can't pass to own players, high balls to the second smallest player on the park who is out jumped by taller defenders , if he does get a ball tries dribble it in net and loses it , instead of having a go. This team has no skill ,most goals blundered into the goal , So what do they do at training play with their I phones and tablets It sure can't be football. Watched a woman's match this morning Man City v Arsenel and the skill was far better than any thing I've seen at livi this season. The playoffs beckon and we should be fearfull off Peterhead and Ayr over 2 legs

OK - my first game for a while , after spitting the dummy at how poor we are and the lack of tactics, but after the result at Falkirk , i decided to attend.
The result against Falkirk must have been a fluke. Alloa had a better fighting spirit than us but most importantly they had TACTICS and a GAMEPLAN. Hopkins is clueless. We look so disjointed its embarrassing.

We are in a worse place than last year I hope we go down because that's our level loan players are shocking

Yesterday was truly woeful. The team should've came out all guns blazing using the confidence gained from the unexpected Falkirk win, but instead they looked disinterested the full game. As annoying and frustrating as the penalty non-decision was at the end, as many people have already said, we didn't do enough to win the game. Picking up one point and not scoring a goal across our two games against Alloa is utterly unacceptable.
Thinking that we may need to pick up a point at Easter Road on Tuesday now.

Chin up lads, we'll probably beat Hibs on Tues now, Livi, doing it the hard way.

We are in a worse place than last year I hope we go down because that's our level loan players are shocking Don't think that is right, last year we drew at Alloa then beat them in the final and won 4, drew 1 and lost 1 in our last 6 games and still only finished 8th on goal difference, there is no way either Alloa or Cowdenbeath came close to that kind of form over the same games. So we were well behind going into those games. This year we are only 2 points from safety. Arguably we have a more difficult run-in as Rangers and Raith are better this season and Morton have our number this season but QoS aren't as strong and Hibs are on their poorest run since being relegated. There is still a chance and Raith getting a late equaliser means the Huns can secure the title by beating Dumbarton on Tuesday. So if we can get something from Hibs we will be in with a shout. I wouldn't be putting any money on us if I were a betting man but last season I thought we were down before we drew at Alloa.

I don't think i have witnessed livi put in a string of 2 good performances together this season. Livi need a point at least on Tuesday night.

I will be taking that apology back from last week, mince, utter mince on Saturday. I would have had more fun listening to someone whittling on about the design of a standard lamppost.
Impossible to predict against Hibs, and Randall @ Hopkirk or whoever the pair are that are playing at being football bosses, words fail me. Sheerin on to late again, and the lad we have on loan from QPR (valued at £500,000)attacking winger cannot get a game.
Will not attend tonight, despite being at every game this season, lost total faith, Peterhead looms just hope we do not get them their in the second leg.
As for the crowd, no idea what we need to do, support is dwindling...

On Saturday I thought it was a stone wall penalty. Having watched the LiviTV recording I now think the referee got it right. Apologies Ref.

No apologies from me. Refs and linos don't have slow mo and 3 different camera angles. With the speed of play and the fact that it was so close to Sheerin taking a possible goal scoring shot there is no way those officials could be sure. In the spirit of the game, Livi should have had the benefit of the doubt but as we have seen on countless occasions this season that was never going to happen.
