What a fantastic result, take a bow Jordan White, Sam Stanton, and our penalty saving hero Marc McCallum.

Firstly an apology. An apology to what I think was Jordons family who sat in front of me today at the Falkirk game. I made a couple of dis respective comments to the player early in the first half which quite rightly was not met with much applause, and indeed quite rightly the family or close friends were upset as well as being extremely angry and the torrent of abuse plus threats made to me were probably deserved. So firstly apologies, my comments were based on past performances and it was not right for me to say that he was "useless" early in the first half.
But on to the game, reasonable travelling support, first half was backs against the wall, we were really up against it Falkirk were passing the ball for fun finding gaps, running looking for the ball, played some great football and we were lucky not be 3 or 4 down at the break. But credit where credit due we stuck to the task at the back, looked and felt solid in we went at 0-0.
Second half started more brightly for us, a change made early on with Sheerin coming in, he is player I feel is able to hold play up and he did seem to make a difference, we started to hit Falkirk on the break with long balls, and indeed it was one of those that found Buchanan lingering at the half way line as the ball was cleared from a Falkirk attack, he ran to it must have ran another 40 yards before squaring the ball into the box for Jordon Whyte, who I have to say made up immense ground to catch Buchanan, for him to slide the first in.
The second came 5 mins before the end the impressive Stanton had caused Falkirk all sorts of problems down the right wing, and he gathered the ball at the corner of the 18 yard box after a pass from Whyte, cut into his right as he darted past a Falkirk Defender then a wee shimmie to to the left just inside the 18 yard box and he cooley slotted number 2.
You thought Andy Murray (GAME, SET, & MATCH) but a corner came in from Falkirk in the dying minute, it looked like a fumble from McCallum but I could be adjusted on that one, then 2 - 1.
We took kick off immediately lost possession, by this point we are in the 93rd minute, Hippo gains the ball from Pitman down the left just inside our half before launching a superb long ball into our Box, resulting in the advancing Falkirk players getting a penalty. Heart in mouth time, as the kick was taken, but Mcallum to the rescue.
3 points today, potentially 3 next week...rollin rollin

Our keeper gets two strong hands to Bairns poor penalty but what on earth was he doing for their first. That's just shocking goalkeeping!
DJ would have been ripped a new one by some fans for a howler like that!
I've said it before but if the management team down there rate this McCallum over DJ then he'd be better away to move his career on as playing second fiddle to, in my opinion, a clear bombscare won't be doing him or his future in the game any favours.

Where is DJ, haven't seen him in the subs line up for a good number of games. DJ made some bombscare moments too so not sure he's any better than McCallum. Falkirk's goal certainly looked like McCallum should've stopped it, was headed straight at him, thankfully made up for it with the pen save.

DJ this season was a much bigger bombscare than McCallum; too cocky following all his penalty saves methinks. Kicking was awful; wall positioning was awful; reactions were awful; coming for crosses was non existent. He has potential but needs to stop the clowning & get down to business.

After watching the Livi tv highlights I've changed my mind on McCallum's part in Falkirk's goal. White comes across him trying to head the ball and he's unsighted until the ball hits him, then has to react as the ball hits his hands and heads into the net.

Initially thought goalie whats gone on but after seeing the replay and White ducking out the way forcing the goalie into a 4 yard reaction save it was always going to be a goal. Pedro suggest you watch it again. Also if you think DJ is a better goalie you must be mad. DJ is a bombscare and a keeper I'd happily see released at the end of the season. McCallum installs confidence in the defence (Cole aside) and organizes whereas DJ thinks its all about him with his showboat saves and stupid seal jump as he comes onto the park.
