Ludicrous decision to throw him on and let him take the free-kick with his first touch. Would they have sent him on to take the pen if it had been given? I don't think so; so why have him take a shot from 7 yards further out and with a wall in front of him? Madness.

Pleased that he started his first game tonight. Of course he's young and leaching upper body strength. But he's clearly talented and his delivery from wide areas is excellent. That's a powerful weapon if used properly. Josh Mullin also has good delivery from the right and, together, they could help create chances in the playoffs. Surely tonight's result must give the team bags of confidence and make our opponents in the playoffs feel anxiety? Back to young Knox..........I thought he didn't look out of place and was delighted that he made a valuable contribution.

Good delivery for the goal which was a superb header by Halkett (easily MotM, oozed class and could be a captain IMO) but he didn't really do much more, he had a couple of fruitless runs and lost the ball too easily.

His deliveries from set pieces were impressive, certainly better than Fotheringham's.

I recall one that wasn't up to much and didn't really have that many but I'll grant you that Fozzy has been poor from set pieces.
Just before he delivered the assist I uttered the now immortal words "Why do they persist in giving the young lad the responsibility of taking the free kicks?"
After the ball hit the net from Halkett's excellent header (let's not minimise this, he still had a fair bit to do to score) I of course added the rejoinder "Clearly, they should get him to take more!"

Here's the scenario tho he must play in all remainder games if not what was the point in playing him last night we need to get a team ready for the playoffs just a pure publicity stunt tho

Actually I don't think it was just about publicity last night, we could've played Telfer but we've got another game on Sun and then the play offs starting on Wed, getting players rested and putting in fringe players made sense. Thought Knox did ok and his contribution at corners and free kicks was an improvement on what we've had all season.
