There's an element of deja vu in my appeal here. We had a crucial game last season at Alloa and the travelling fans were influential - high in numbers, vocal, positive and supportive.
I'm appealing to all Livi fans to make that extra effort again on Saturday and travel to Alloa. Let's get behind the team, fully, between now and the end of the season. The next 3 games (Alloa (a), Morton (h), Dumbarton (h)), in particular, are critical to us.
I genuinely think that it will be to our advantage if we have a vocal, supportive, substantial away support on Saturday.

Good luck with the war cry. Not sure the fans/ultras will heed it though. They're too busy berating and bullying their fellow supporters to care about anything else. That lot are, if anything, driving people away from supporting our club.

If you class it as bullying then I fear that you may be an over-sensitive member of the 'happy-clapping' brigade at Livingston.

With following every member of the Livi support that left the ground on Saturday, how would you know there was no berating and bullying of other fans going on?
Or is it just a case of if you didn't see it, it didn't happen?

Not sure I saw any bullying etc. but then again I wasn't at the Dumbarton away game when I believe a significant event took place leading to one lifetime banning being put in place.
Anyway apologies to Colcal for the off topic comment - if you don't want to go for the football then go for the KFC bargain bucket before the game.

No, it's more a general observation regarding the over-sensitivity of Livingston fans who seem to be against any untoward comments aimed at the team. It seems to be the general impression that we should continually clap and encourage the team despite the fact that we've managed two points in our last eight games. There seems to be a current trend of scapegoating this group of 'so-called supporters', who seem to be the only members in the crowd who voice any discontent towards the team.
But yes, you're right, as I never followed every Livi supporter out of the ground on Saturday I can't say for sure. However, my general observation stands; the consensus amongst Livingston fans seems to be that we should never criticise the players, even in the case of watching utter shite on the park. It often beggars belief that those playing are representative of full-time players.

I'm sure we've all been at games with an amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately it usually takes us to be dangling before death or about to win something for the Livi fans to be up for it and to come out in full force. If we lose to Alloa then it doesn't look great for us at all. I'll certainly be at the game cheering the team. It's hard for fans to rally though when the team is playing a 'pile of pants'.If we have a defensive blunder early on, conceed, and never look good enough to score then it all seems fairly futile.

I'll be there too, hopefully it'll be like the Cowden game last season where the fans backed the team all game and the players responded by putting in a battling display and getting a win. Mon the Lions.

I don't think that fans should stop criticising the team when the time is right. But surely supporting the team during the game is a much more valuable and productive use of our time, if we really do have passion for the club. Criticise afterwards. Any edge we can give the players on Saturday could be the difference between winning and drawing, or between drawing and losing. If we lose or play badly or don't agree with the tactics, then let's deal with that when we get back. Anyone who pulls on the jersey on a match day will get my support, whether or not I'd have selected them if I'd been manager. 100% support for he 90 minutes is the request. Come on Livi!

I can't wait for this one today. The manager has plenty of options to bring in some changes to the starting 11 after last week's defeat. I'd like to see Telfer starting - he's got something different and looks creative in midfield. He's capable of scoring too. Alloa are talking a good game in the build up to this and their manager has got them fired up. Let's hope we can match their effort and commitment, just like we did a fortnight ago against Hibs. If we do, I'm confident we can win. I'm going for a nerve-jangling 2-1 victory to us with goals from Buchanan and Telfer.

We will have to try something different because White and Buchanan does not work.

White and Mullen start, Telfer gets his first start. Livi off to a flyer with 2 in less than 15 mins from Longridge and White both assisted by Telfer. Alloa pull 1 back within 5 mins and Stanton makes 3-1 from a Mullen assist with Telfer involved again.
C'mon Livi!!!

Telfer and Kakay were outstanding today. Great result spoiled by Dumbarton getting 3 points as well.the whole team played their part . there was fight and good organisation. Really looking forward to Tuesday now.

Good performance against a poor Alloa team. The second half was a fairly boring affair, but we did what we needed to do, nullifying any potential Alloa attacks who never really looked like scoring again. Agree with the above comments, Telfer was excellent today; he looked a class act, his ball for the second goal (I think) was brilliant. Kakay looked much better in a more attacking role, he looked really dangerous today with constant running down the right flank.
Disappointing that Dumbarton got a surprise results, but as cliche goes, we can only affect our own results. We look to have isolated Alloa at the bottom of the league and I'm very confident that they won't catch us now. Onto the next couple of massive games against Morton and Dumbarton. It's time for us to improve our terrible home record in these two winnable games.

Much needed win today, and a good performance on the wings, on a narrow pitch too. Telfer and Kakay were outstanding in midfield, they should find it even easier on a wider pitch. Kakay started off the move for our second goal when he won the ball and passed it forward, Telfer was instrumental in our third. Longridge too did really well getting forward down the wing.
Just a pity Hibs lost to Dumbarton but the main thing was putting distance between us and Alloa.

Delighted with the win and the manner of it. I thought we dominated the game throughout and could have won by a bigger margin. Telfer made a huge difference and Kakay was excellent too. Credit to Ben Gordon too. He's had some indifferent performances but yesterday he had, in my opinion, his best game for us. It would be great if the whole squad, which looks strong and has depth, could use this result as a springboard and pick up more points in the next couple of games. That would put Alloa to bed and allow us to focus on looking up the table rather than looking behind us.

A great 3 points(!) but we have to build on it or else we've merely consolidated our position in the relegation playoffs.

Absolutely right. We have three games in a row at home now that are winnable...albeit they won't be easy; Morton have had our number this season, Dumbarton seem to have had it for a couple of seasons & Saints have been easier on their own patch than at the Vale this season, so there are no guarantees but if we want to get clear of 9th, these are the games we need to take more of the available points than we give up.
