Where is all the money coming from ? Not coming from through the gate anyway, we're down to 800 ish in the home end. Maybe relying on Knox being sold.

We seem to be amassing a large number of midfielders. Surely, Spas, Cole or Glen will be let go to rebalance the wages again.

I personally don't think we will be full time next season I fully expect us to stay up but with so bad gates we can't afford the wages it's bad enough just now I hear also that knoxs agent is mark burchills agent which would mean you can guarantee the club gets next to nothing for him I also predict he will only go to hearts all this rubbish that Nottingham forest have made a bid for him and we rejected it seems bull to me

Hopkin will have a simple formula to apply. Balance the wage bill. So, there will be more to leave I suspect. It may not be as simple as one-in-one-out because the payments for loan players can go from having to fund all of their wages to paying for none of them. All the hype about young Knox is true. It would be great if he stayed and got some game time with us. But it would be silly if we didn't fight for our best interests of clubs are making bids. Forest did make such a bid. Two other Chanpionship clubs are all over him and two EPL clubs also want him. He seems very level headed and would be happy to stay for games. If he's that good, it would make sense for us to let him have more than the 20-odd minutes he's played so far for the first team.

There will be very little money used on loan deals.

I don't think he's ready for the first team, and certainly not when we're fighting relegation. If a team comes in for him it will be for future development, the hype is in his potential to be a good player in 4 or 5 years time. Can't see all these loan deals being for nothing, we'll be paying a percentage of their wages.

Millen out, Esposito out, Faria out - possibly Knox and it looks like Gould too. (all on full wages).
Stanton, Telfer, Kakay, Halkett and Fotheringham in (3 of which are loan deals so we won't be paying full wage).
We can't moan about pish performances and then moan about a new manager trying to improve the squad to do better than we have been...

Don't think anyone is moaning about that LL21, showing concern for our finances after two admins is something we all should be doing.
I'm all for improving the team but at some stage we should be accepting that we need to find our level and learn to live within it. What normally happens, is someone questions finances, the fans divide into two camps, the ones feeling defensive against anyone asking questions, and the ones asking the questions. The ones being defensive usually end up with egg on their faces for their loyal devotion to the club/reprobates running the club. In the end nobody wins and ALL of us fans are left with the mess these chancers have left behind.
We're always teetering on the edge at Livi, it is one long adrenaline rush.
On the transfers out side, there's a rumour going about that Hippo is signing for Falkirk.

Would be amazed if Hippo signed for Falkirk. His performances against them have been among the poorest he's had in a Livi shirt. Glad to see those players who've left have been able to find other clubs. Esposito has signed for Airdrie. Millen signed for Clyde. Our squad really needed to be freshened up. Good luck to all the new guys - and welcome!

Good luck to all the new guys - and welcome! Quite a few opposition managers rated him at least according to reports earlier in the season. Quite a few opposition fans rated him as the player they would take from us given the chance. It seems to me he has been under appreciated, under valued and under utilised by Livi (fans and club). He proved what he can do throughout the Petrofac run and the great escape last season, given a run in the team as a "free" player as he was then I have no doubt he'd have done better this season. I think it is fairly clear that Hoppy wasn't keen on him but if the club have received a fee then that is a wee bonus. I am sure he will do well at Falkirk if he gets the chance.

Best wishes to Hippo for the future and I'd like to thank him for his time with us. Perhaps Falkirk will make sure he's more disciplined and works harder, especially off the ball. If he can focus on the basic things - pace, passing, movement, creativity - he'll do very well wherever he goes. But he needs to have someone make sure that he stops the unnecessary drag backs, the triple dribbles, the passing with the outside of the boot (when a simple pass would do) and the silly yellow cards for throwing the ball away or pulling the opponent's shirt..........then there's no doubt that his potential to go further and higher in the game is very promising.

Disappointed to see the squad flooded with loan signings to the detriment of blooding young Livi talent.
Glad Hippo is off the wage bill - big on talent, low on application.
Still don't know who Espisito is.
I'm getting the feeling that the club I support isn't the club I support anymore. #arseholesplaything

The reality of it all is hoppys return rate is worse than any 1.5 wins out of 5 is total crap he's bringing in players to which he thinks are better but realistically he's now having to bond a team ,will it work ? I don't know if it does hats off to him if not he's going to look a fool , I say bring on Knox ,auriemma,Quin,Fraser, smith and Somerville according to burchill they are all doing well at their clubs they are with apart from Knox he doesn't even have a team he can play in,or a team where he was actually watched

I'm getting the feeling that the club I support isn't the club I support anymore. #arseholesplaything Apart from the young guys out on loan - presumably because they are not ready for the first team yet - what young talent is available that is not already in the first team squad? (Genuine question, cause I don't know what's there and as far as I'm aware there no youth/development/reserve side) The hashtag you ascribe has been true since Flynn took over. Including the "original Livi 5" although I would concede that not all of the "5" should be labelled thus, at least not from the outset of their tenure. Not sure what you mean when you say you don't know who Esposito is... You must at least have seen that he is a young Aussie, right sided player usually a RB or RWB and that he was recommended to us by Gavin Rae before Christmas, that he allegedly signed but couldn't be registered due to international clearance not happening? If I know that much I'm sure you do too... What else is there to know of any significance other than he now appears to have left the club?

What goes on elsewhere is out of my control whether I agree with it or not.

OCS has him as a defender who can play midfield when required Edit: Just had another look at the OCS which now says he's been playing midfield or on the wing...that wasn't there when I first looked
