Shite, shite and more shite.
Got a goal and decided to sit in the whole second half waiting for Dumbarton to score. Why Burchill never put on subs to break up the game I'll never know. Despite the fact we got a draw, the performance was on a par with that of the Alloa game.
Time to go for Mark.
Onwards onto St. Mirren.

Started brightly but faded after the goal. Far too happy to sit back and not exactly defend greatly either.
Said before the corner was taken we had no man on the front post 10 seconds later goal. We are not good enough to zonal mark defend.
Sorry Burchill time to go. Bring back Bollan!!

And yet half the team seemed to by lying on the ground at the front post after the corner swung into that side of the goal.
I agree the tactics were completely wrong after taking the lead but until the equaliser McCallum didn't really have much to do.
An improvement on last week, we scored and we didn't lose but it was still poor, especially in the second half

This week was just as bad as last week. Our only saving grace was the fact that we managed to score this week. I've still no idea why, with less than 5 mins to go, Burchill was not even considering subs to break up the play.. A little bit of sensible management could've saved all three points and had us looking up the league. Instead, we are in the same shite position as last year, looking back towards the foot of the table.
Honestly think that there is little (zero) chance that we'll finish below Alloa, but we seem destined for 9th position with the brutal performances we seem to churn out against the 'lesser' opposition.
The point we earned against Rangers means hee-haw if we can't beat the teams around us. Pish.

Not as bad as last week IMO. The players looked like they were trying this week but they didn't seem to have much of a game plan and, as you point out, had terrible tactics esp second half and no nous in the dug out. IMO the blame this week lies firmly at Burchill's door.

It wasn't as bad as last week, first half we played ok and should've been 2-0 up, last week we only had one shot at goal and one corner all game. Players showed far more commitment putting in tackles and closing players down in midfield.
Second half though we just sat in and lumped balls up to Sheerin, or as the game went on it was just a case of booting it up the pitch for Dumbarton to bring it straight back down again. Wrong tactics if Burchill sent us out second half to defend our lead, and not bringing on Buchanan to give us a player with pace up front to get the play up in their half was bewildering from Burchill. Mullen tried but he hasn't the physicality Buchanan has to hold off a challenge, I'd have stuck Mullen or Hippo on for Glen and subbed White for Buchanan to give us some energy up front.
That's two week running Burchill hasn't used his subs, can't fathom him out at all.

We're f****d if thats the players coming out to amend last week's performance ...back to the drawing board Monday morning I don't think anyone has said that yesterday's performance makes up for tha Alloa performance...simply that it was an improvement...it was still very poor compared to what they have shown they are capable of.

Everyone got panicky presumably except him...maybe if he had he would have done something positive instead of standing with his hands in his pockets!
The fans weren't panicky, they were screaming at him to do his job and make changes and take the opportunity to pass on the instructions to keep the ball that he clearly saw they weren't doing.
Shocking interview because it reveals he could see the problems but did absolutely nothing to change it.
