Can't wait for this one. Missed the cup game away at Peterhead and then last week's game was postponed so I've got withdrawal symptoms. Buzzing for this afternoon. I'm feeling confident that we can win this - and win it comfortably. We are looking stronger defensively and I feel that we're capable of scoring goals in every game we play these days. So, all things considered, I'm going for a 3-0 home victory to set us up nicely for next week's home game against Dumbarton and the trip to Paisley on Boxing Day.

Terrible. Poor decision making far too many passengers in the team, pass marks only to Pitman (works hard but no support around him).
When did the back 4 think we became Barcelona?? Playing about at the back with no idea how to break down an amateur side.
In my opinion Burchills time is up if we lose to Dumbarton next week. The man has no clue when to make changes or how to set up against teams.

Frankly the worst performance I have seen from a Livingston side. There was a lack of energy, lack of commitment, lack of interest, lack of ability and a lack of ideas. A total shambles from the first minute to the last. Totally and utterly inept. The fans team would have given Alloa a harder game.

Getting beat at home from a pub team like Alloa is absolutely criminal. What a brilliant chance to distance ourselves from the foot of the table but instead we've been sucked back towards it.
Team looked absolutely disinterested, in particular Gary Glen's performance was absolutely pathetic in my opinion. He looked lethargic all game and some of his distribution was woeful.
Team needs a shake, the next two teams are absolutely critical to our final league position.
After 16 games have we now lost against all 9 other championship teams? Dreadful.

Totally agree with all previous posters. The fact that two midfielders were subbed left us light there and the only option, so it would seem, is lump it upfield down the middle.when plan A does not work, we seem to stick with it. With 15 minutes to go a wee lad near me was pleading with his grandad to go home as " this is rubbish" .not a bad judge.

Could see us facing defeat as the game went on to be honest, far to pedestrian no flare in the team shooting was woefull (3 strikers???) Loved it how GG was having a go at the fans at the end off the game for no applauding them off ...f*****g pretender. Was going to get a half season ticket aswell ,they kin swivel on that performance .

FFS!!.
Where do you begin with such an inept, shambolic gutless performance like that. One of the worst I've seen and there's plenty to choose from. In fact I won't bother.
Same again next week and its surely time for MB to chuck it.

That was as poor a performance as I have ever seen . Just lacked commitment and urgency, could not believe this was how we turned up to play against this lot might in such a key match. The wee man above who said to Grandpa it was rubbish will probably never want to come back potentially a lost future supporter and what will he tell his pals.
Really disappointing after some strong performances against Hibs and Rangers.
Next week - we must do better or we really will be in big trouble - or maybe we are already

So so disappointed today with an absolutely terrible performance. Mark, you must take responsibility for the complete failure today. You seemed to have learned nothing from last season when we lost in consecutive weeks to the teams around us and only managed the great escape when we started playing to win games. Today we wasted most of the game going nowhere, across the back, backwards, across the back again, so pedestrian that we got nowhere. The game was there to be won if we had gone at them in the first half and put some pressure on them. Then when it all went wrong, all "tactics" were abandoned and chaos took over. Today I wished I wasn't a season ticket holder as not going is the only way to protest. At ther moment I really don't know if I'll bother next week ......

So disappointing today, ok there is always a chance it wouldn't be as easy a game as expected with us having such good displays against Hibs & The Rangers, and a thoroughly professional job against Peterhead too, but that was just so poor from nearly every player in a Livi shirt.
Midfield was none existent and we were playing front to back from Gallagher/Neill to Buchanan/White, with no link up play from midfield at all. Which made it really easy for their defenders, when our strikers got the ball they were immediately under pressure from the CB's. You have to get the midfield running through to take defenders away from our strikers and give them space to run into to get at goal.
I'd have even taken off Glen, put on Sheerin, and dropped Buchanan into midfield as a link up player to both of them, just to get something happening up front. Glen was a passengers all game anyway, dear knows how he stayed on the pitch when Gibbons was subbed, then Faria later on.
Defensive mistake for their goal but it had been coming, too many back passes to McCallum and we'd got away with a couple of close ones earlier when he was put under pressure from balls played back to him. Gallagher was having to push more and more forward to get the ball up to the strikers as our midfield weren't doing it, where the hell were they today!! No energy, no desire, were they on their xmas night out last night and still full of turkey and booze before the game? Better get their collectice arses into gear next week and beat Dumbarton or we'll be heading to 10th place instead of 8th.

Glad to see that others seem to think that Gary Glen was entirely inept today.. Thought he looked totally disinterested all day and unwilling to assert any effort throughout the game.
We seemed to have no way of breaking Alloa's defensive approach down. Fair play, alloa came and sat in and waited for us to gift them a mistake which we seem so capable of doing, so I've no complaints about the end result. Hopefully we can turn things around in the next two winnable games..

Easily the worst performance of the season. Truly awful. Why on earth do we insist on pass backs like that? How many times have we lost goals like that this year? Suicidal. No pass marks from anyone today. The contast with the Rangers game couldn't have been more stark. Today we lacked energy and passion. Second to every ball. Truly terrible.

Came with the whole team of 9 year olds from Bathgate Thistle 2006's. Being a livi fan since the start (but had to create a new log in from livi.till.i.die) I was hoping to make them all livi fans.
When 9 year olds start picking apart the movement, lack of Comms, passing at the back it's a grim day for the team.
Maybe just an off day, maybe something bothering them, maybe Alloa had something to prove... Who knows.
Hope they can turn this around soon.

That's a real shame they had to witness our worst performance of the season, we'd been on a really good run of performances too with big wins over QoS, Raith and Peterhead, along with good games against Hibs and The Rangers, just don't know what happened to the players yesterday for them to play so badly. Alloa had 3 games in the space of eight days too, and we had a fortnight to get ready for this game after Falkirk postponed last week, if anyone should've been showing signs of being tired it should've been Alloa, not us.
Some of the players on twitter apologising to the fans for their terrible performance, so hopefully they'll show us how much they want to make it up to us and beat Dumbarton.

If you read the conformity of opinion....it must have been bad. I hope the club will not contribute to a christams meal out.
