Deserved our point today. Worked like Trojans all game and got into their faces, which they didn't like. I thought Gibbons was tremendous. My man of the match. Strong performances all over the pitch. I was impressed by The Rangers and thought they played some good stuff throughout. Much better than they were last year and certainly a better side than Hobs. Just like Tuesday, and many times this season, we played really well but (unlike many times) we got something for all of that effort. As I said the other day, if we play like that for the rest of the season, we'll pick up plenty of points.

Great to see us starting with two up front yesterday, valuable point to keep us above St Mirren and Dumbarton too. Should give the players belief for our next league game against Falkirk and then we've a bit of an easier run of games against teams around us.
Onwards and upwards Livi Lions.

Sounds like a well deserved point, especially with such little possession!

Sounds like a well deserved point, especially with such little possession! Take no note of what the BBC statistics have down as possession. It is rubbish. Rangers may have had more of the ball but not twice as much. I note too that Warburton says Rangers will have to adapt to teams playing with 9 men in defence. He then added - it happened yesterday. That is more rubbish. We defended stoutly but we got up the pitch a fair bit too. Also I note his quote that Rangers were not at their best. It is incredible the number of teams this season who haven't played at their best when playing Livi. We must be jinxing them all.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was twice as much possession TBH; we let them have the ball for the first 20 mins & the last 20 mins but we worked like mad for 90 mins especially when not in possession.
9 man defence? Maybe in the last 20 mins when we only had 1 up front but when we had 2 up front we were hitting them on the break & getting forward in numbers. Absolutely hilarious how quiet they got when we equalised.

Yeah we got pressed back for a spell after Subbing Sheerin for Glen and having White as our lone striker, that had allowed them to build from the back and lay siege to our defence. Up till then we had White and Sheerin chasing down balls forcing them into playing it quickly. When they got past White and Sheerin we let them knock the ball around until they were in our final third then pounced on them breaking down their attack and gaining possession to break up field.
When Buchanan came on he was chasing down the ball in their half forcing them to hit it long and we regained our shape again, getting back to what we had been doing all game and being able to break up the pitch a few more times. Millen coming on almost got us a winner too, just a pity we hadn't kept White on with Buchanan for Millen's cross along the six yard box, Buchanan was too short to reach the ball.
We certainly didn't play two banks of four along the back line and sit in as Warburton said.

Spot on JS; I said at the time if Buchanan had been White then Millen's cross might well have been converted.
