We were unlucky. More possession, more shots on target. Story of the season. Same old, same old.

Hibs had more possession and shots, they deserved their win. However we got to HT level after Cummings and Keatings passed up great chances and could easily have been a goal up with Hippo's clear chance before Keatings went straight up the pitch and scored. White had a penalty claim turned down too and Sheerin scored so we weren't just there making up the numbers.
I think Buchanan should've started with White, the big fella was winning everything, really needs Buchanan or Sheerin starting with him though to make the most of his talent, can't do it by himself against Hibs or Sevco. If we start with either White or Buchanan up front by themselves on Sat I expect the same result, gallant effort but just coming up short.

I was very encouraged, once again, by the performance. We played very well throughout, with good possession, passing and energy. The best evidence for our opponents' concern was their time wasting and urgency to keep the ball at the corner flags in an effort to kill the game. Jordan White has totally transformed his game in the last few weeks. He now wins lots in the air, holds the ball up extremely well and links up with his team mates much better than before. He, and the coaching staff, have clearly been working hard on improving him as a player - and it's a spectacular transformation. Good contributions from Pittmann, Gibbons and McCallum too but almost everyone played well. Buchanan looked dangerous when he came on and Sheerin's finish for the goal was excellent. Despite only 5 subs (which still confuses me) I look at the bench and feel that we have strength in depth, bearing in mind those who're missing longer term. All in all, a defeat that leaves me feeling very upbeat beating in mind the opposition and the form they're in. We'll play much worse than this and win games. If we play like that, we'll be well clear of any relegation scrap as the season progresses.

As I said, we had more possession and more shots on target. No points though.

Only we didn't, Hibs had more possession and shots, both on target and off target, more corners too. They deserved their win but I would've had no shame stealing the points had Hippo scored before Keatings, it has happened to us ofeten enough.

Small margins. Its fine line between success & failure. You just have to believe that somewhere along the line, we will get the rub of the green that the effort deserves. But while it would be nice to see it happen in matches against the better sides in the division, we really need to concern ourselves with the teams at our end of the league & making sure we stay above them.
