After yesterday's defeat burchie is officially our worst manager ever but at least he gave all those or most of his pals 2 year deals looks like we will have a team that gels to pull us out division 1 next year

Should we give the team a new nickname? Burchill's Buddies, perhaps?

Short memories from some of these posters. Typical and expected response from those only concerned with quick fixes and u realistic expectations. Burchill kept us up last year. The squad is better than before. The performances are better than before. The results are (obviously) mixed. Those advocating a change are short sighted and unrealistic. We are a small club with a small fan base and should have small expectations. Surviving in the Chanpionship is our aim and ambition. Those who think that we should be playing in the Champions League and winning trophies every year need a reality check. Burchill has shown enough to make sure he deserves a chance to create his own way of doing things. Time after time we've changed manager and that leads to a huge turnover of players. We need to play the long game. Stability. Retention of players and staff. That leads to long term benefits. Otherwise it's all change, instability and uncertainty. Let's stick with it. Results will come. Performances are good or decent enough to give confidence that we are going to be ok.

Fine sentiments colcal but if Livi was your business and you were pumping money into it with less than expected / satisfactory results would you accept " ok" as an end result? Afraid the guys who hold the purse strings are looking for a return on their investment and 4 home games against Rangers and Hibs in a season ain't going to provide it. They want SPL and the potential rewards that brings. I agree with you that Burchill needs to be given a bit longer but the question is how long?

Who holds the purse strings at Livi these days? Anyone know? Where did the money last season from Rangers and Hibs go? Anyone know? And who runs the club on a day to day basis? Anyone know? What is Gordon Ford up to these days? Anyone know? Is he still the 'Chairman'? Anyone know? Is he still the clubs largest shareholder? Anyone know? Why is Neil Rankine regularly seen in the boardroom on a Saturday? Anyone know? What's the status of the clubs legal wrangle with Gordon McDougall over unpaid monies? Anyone know?
