Did anyone believe the crowd announced at the game of 644 last night?

There was nearly as many folk in our dugout as there was in the stands. What do they all do? They can't all just be Burchills pals, surely?

Never 644 who makes these numbers up?
How long will Burchill last?

Here we go again! Changing the manager is definitely not the answer right now. We need stability. A defeat by a solid, competent mid-table Premiership side is no disgrace. Moreover, we competed well for long spells. If there were no signs of improvement on the park or if the manager had lost the dressing room, then fair enough - change would make sense. But neither of those things has happened. We need to get behind the manager and the squad.

No, just a good old fashioned supporter who believes that changing the manager after 7 games of the season is ridiculous and counter-productive. Firstly, it's the wrong approach. Secondly, we couldn't afford the pay off fee. Thirdly, who would you bring in as a replacement? Fourthly, a new manager would have the same squad with no prospect of changing it. Finally, there are enough signs on the pitch to suggest that there is cause for optimism. I think that keep Mark Burvhill is the best thing for the club and the squad. Short term knee jerk reactions seldom have the desired long term effect. I'd rather we persevere and allow him to have the whole season to do his job. Support him and the players.

I'm with you Colcal.... as for the crowd size; I said to my lad about 5 minutes into the game that the crowd was about 5 or 6 hundred; so 644 is not an unrealistic number. Quite why the size of the crowd is justification for calling for the manager's head is a bit strange though.

I volunteer to make Mark a better manager. That is my profession. I will do it for free.
