Seen the other thread about the new 'Barca' style away kit for next season and it got me thinking - what's been our best kit? There's a link on the OS of all the kits home and away since '95. www.livingstonfc.co.uk/history/strips_livi.phpDo you think you tend to like a kit more if the team has been more successful when wearing it? I liked the home and away kits of 05/06 - the Xara effort. Although, got a special liking for the horrific 95/96 away kit - how did anyone ever put that blue stramash together!? This years kits are a nice pairing too - wasn't keen initially but they've grown on me as the season's went on. The worst pair for me were the 02/03 horrors that we wore in the UEFA Cup. A white top for a home kit and purple for away?! Shockerooni!

Not sure I agree that success means a strip is better when you think back on it. Our cup winning top was terribly put together with cheap material and imo without character.
Best one, surely, is season 1 in the SPL. Quality!
The red and yellow effort from a couple of seasons ago was bogging!
Looking forward to seeing the Barcelona one!

The red xara one that had a huge neck and the deck chair are the worst we've ever had.
I liked the home one that the fans had their names embroidered on and the blue away one we had in the third division.

I think our best strip was from the very first season in the SPL. To see the team run out against Hearts in our first ever top league game was awesome! Still think the new Barcelona strip will take some beating though. Plan to wear it on holiday this summer.

The red xara one that had a huge neck and the deck chair are the worst we've ever had. I liked the red one though the neckline wasn't ideal. The colour was a nice deep colour, not anything like maroon but not bright red either. No arguments on the deckchair!!
