Lads lets get our thoughts up.
I thought we started slowly and started to get into the game. We got the goal from Daz Keith's cross. But in the second half we were playing fantastic and in the secnd half we showed why we are still unbeaten and top of the Scottish leagua and in the cup final. We should be proud of ourselves. Lets keep this up
MoTM - there are a couple of people this could go to especially to Titch, Richie and Dave, but I'm going to have to give it to Richie, I thoght everytime he got the ball he looked dangerous and he had such a fantastic game. So well done mate

Turned out to be comfortable in the end, however up until the hour mark they mad life very difficult for us. We kept creating chances and plugging away. Could prove to be a very big 3 points for us as we edge closer to the end of the league campaign.
MOTM - Going to go for Tich on this one, kept plugging aaway and some of his passes were top drawer which helped us grb the vital few goals at the end. Tom battled away in the middle and let me / tich get forward and thought he had a cracking game as well. Quick mention to Dave thought he took his goal extremley well under pressure.
Donkey - Mcginty for tunring up with his t-shirt on inside out!

Only natural that there's a bit of nerves on show at this stage in the season. So close to to end so the pressure picks up a wee bit more with every game. That's fine - we just need to make sure we try and relax and continnue to play the football we've done all season. We're in the position we're in because we've worked hard all year up to now - just stick to the basics, keep doing what we know we can do and this will all click together.
6 games left this season - 3 league, 1 scottish cup final and 2 memorial matches. Chance to win 5 trophies from those 6 games.
By no means our greatest performance but we were still in control for most. We created chances thoughout and just before we got the second, we were banging on the door for a while. Good character to keep going after they equalised and not let the clock get to us.
MotM - Tough this week as I don't think anyone stood out inparticular - felt more of a hard fought team performance for me. I'll go for Richie though. Scored 1 and set-up two (I think). Great wee ball through for my goal, skinned his man to fire the ball in for Tich and made a great run to tap in his own. Like Richie said though, mention to Tich too for some brilliant passes and a good shift overall.
Donkey - McGinty for sleeping in then turning up with his t-shirt inside out. Haha!

I know Dave's said the clock never seemed to get to us, proof he's more laid back than I am. I was definately feeling the pressure in that second half until we took the lead again. I guess I didn't help myself by blazing a shot over the bar from 6 yards at 1-1, instantly making me feel like I'd sabotaged the whole season. I've never been more relieved to see a GS goal than Dave's to put us ahead again. It's the first time I've felt that kind of pressure all season, even more so that when we were 2-1 up at Ayr. I'll take this as a good thing as it means we've therefore been in control of most matches and so not had much to worry about.
MotM - Mr Kay for me this week. I agree with the comments above, contributed so much to the game and I felt pulled us through when we could have started to panic.
Donkey - Slim pickings this week so it's McGinty for his wardrobe issues.

A well deserved hard fought victory from us on Saturday. Didn't look settled in the first half but we showed why we are top of the league by knuckling down and grinding out the victory. Tom, Dave, Tich and Richie were on top form as usual. Nothing less than 100% given by them.
MoTM - For me it's DazK. First game back in a while. He didn't stop running the line all match. From being up on the attack to covering right back when Kev wanted to go. Cracking performance.
Donkey - Mark for the T-Shirt malarkey

The combination of a bobbly pitch, wind and fly away footballs made the game tough for us more than anything. PSJ were by no means a poor side, but there was other factors to that game that made it more difficult that it should have been.
As I said at half time, we were a bit panicky all over the park, myself included. Despite this, I was always confident we would pull away in the second half and after some real pressure, the quality of Tich, Richie & Dave done the job. Second half, the defence were tremendous and evry sub that came on was brilliant. It's cracking to see the guys come on off the bench and really go for it, making the most of every minute on the park.
You'll notice the better we have become, the less talking I've done on these sorts of threads - because we are clicking. I still feel we could step it up another couple of gears if I'm being honest - we've got sh!t loads in the tank.
MoTM: Richie Kay. Sometimes during a game I wish that I could push on a bit and grab a few goals for myself, but then I look at the quality we already have there and realise to stay back. Dave, Richie, Tich & our wingers destroy teams in the final third and this season Richie has been top notch. Played a massive part in winning us that game. Well in mate.
Also loving Joe Bardell at the moment, cracking chat at the sidelines kept me going at times!
Donkey: Want to apologise to Dean for Cheeseman being Cheeseman!

Some determinded performances on an unusually small park which we took a while to adjust to.
Awful lot of good players in our team these days. But in particular, the class of Richie, Dave and Tich was there for all to see. Tich and Richie swapping in and out works so flawlessly well. Its a tremendous luxury. Hard to pick between the three.. all doing such diffierent jobs. Dave's running, finishing, knock ons and determination are incredible. Richie's and Tich's trickery, control and vision were priceless once again.
Tich edged it for me this week. Calm head through out. Picked some great passes including a stunning 40 yard pass to Richie, took on the volley in mid-air which had Tom creaming himself...and rightly so. Having three boys hauling at his shirt.. and keeping calm enough to retain and cleverly pass it out summed it up.
No discouragement for anyone to not get a MotM performance though.. some great effort in a tough game. lots of positives to be taken.
Will say - that we seem to finish games with the TEAM mentality that has got us this far.. but lately we've been starting them without that. Need to all be sharper in talking, releasing the ball and moving for each other. In particular.. making sure passes reach there target. There's no excuses for 5/10 yard passes not making it to our own players, not with the talent we have. So put your foor through it and trust your team mate to control it.
Donkey..
Me - inside out shirt shit..

whole body was in mid air.. it was awkward and beautiful all in one motion. You're now Donkey.. lest you forget, you hit the moon from 6 yards out..

Think our only problem now is how long it takes us to get going when the game starts. Like we've said before if we don't perform then we will only have ourselves to blame if we throw it away. There's only 6 games left in total which could see us have 5 trophies come the end of the season guys so no shirking now! Anyway..
MotM - Richie, effortless running down the lines chasing balls, playing some cracking passes and collective finishing. Donkey - I never knew about McGinty not being able to dress himself so Kevin can have it this week for thinking he was still playing rugby with that shot haha

There is nothing I can add to what has been said...
Motm would have to go to Ritchie Kay, he made there midfield and defence life a night mare!
Donkey has to go to kev's 6 yard try kick
