Weird game.. thought the first half was as poor as we've been all season. That said.. we seemed to pick up the pace a little in the second half, with Motherwell when they did have the ball, being largely resticted to their own half and to speculative efforts. MoTM. In games like that - goals are important for moral.. Dave scored three. God knows we needed them as we didn't look like we had much to give at first. Donkey - I'll go with Paul Miller.. for being the drunkest man in the world and making me stop so he could throw up those 'f**king jaffa cakes" well played

Another important win which now leaves us with four games to go. With Hearts beating KaisAyr too, it's given us a wee cushion at the top of the Scottish league now. Makes little difference though as we need to win all four if we've to stand any chance of winning the British league.
We were a bit shaky in the first 30 minutes. Didn't get our foot on the ball and looked a bit all over the place at times though but everyone grew into the game and we were dominant in the second half.
Was good to see all the subs put in good shifts when they came on too - good to be able to make changes in the game and not lose momentum.
MotM for me is a tough one this week. Great bit of quick thinking and composure from Tich from the free-kick to score the 4th. Richie was outstanding in both midfield and upfront and deserved a goal to cap of the showing.
I'm going to opt for Scudge this week though. Had a great game out on the right, getting up and down the flank, always offering a wide ball for the central players and grabbed a goal. Good stuff.
Donkey - Paul Miller for getting his dad to phone Tom with his sickline! Haha.

We did start the game a little scrapy but we managed to deal with it well enough and I have seen us play worse this season. Just need 2 wins to clinch the scottish league, but as Dave says all 4 would get us both the scottish and british leagues, so a big push is required. MOTM - Very close between Dave and Scudge for me as Dave banged in 3 goals, people just expect him to score but still has to work for them (well some of them ). Thought scudge put in a great shift though after being out the team for a while, certainly took his chance at getting back in and took his goal well, so he just sneaks it. Donkey - Paul "hewy spewy" Miller

MotM - Scudge. Very rarely does he have a bad game but I thought he was outstanding yesterday. Hope you're on the dishes Tom! Donkey - wee Paul.

MoTM - Scudge. As folk have said he put in a cracking shift in a new position for him. You forgot he's played centre back for most of his GS appearances when you see him making those runs. Took the goal very well. Tich, Dave and Richie all had a great game. Along with Tom they four lads put in 110% every week.
Donkey - Paul's an obvious choice however as far as I can remember its the only time he's ever turned up in anything other that a sober state. Every one else had down it countless times. So I'm gonna go for KevG for trying to go for his shower with his shinnies still on.
Also a mention to Sav and Mutter. Both lads haven't had much game time recently and both came on and had a great shift. Both putting in some vital challenges. As tom said on the way home every challenge sav made he got the ball.

Motm - As a few have said could have been a number of guys but going with tich. Great vision to take the early free kick and all but seal the win.
Donkey - Sav. On the M8 coming home, going under the new bridges getting built at Whitburn sav asks if they're the new Forth Road Bridges?

Strong overall performance from us on saturday. Defence had one short spell were they looked a bit shaky which is something thats been rarely said this year because of the form the back four have been in, however it was quickly sorted out and it was back to buisness as usual. Thought the talking/communtication was excellent on saturday all over the pitch Dougie playing behind me never shut up (in a good way ) and the shouts from Richie and Dave where encouraging and productive throughout. MoTM - Dave or Richie for me, Richie's passing was spot on (1-0 on a plate) and as always a nightmare in the center for the opposition. Going to give it to Dave this week though for the obvious hat trick and also putting in a tirelss shift. Mention to that screamer of a pass across the pitch to me he played late on in the second half that deserved a finish. One of his best tean perfromances I've seen this season. Donkey- Love that from Savage ^^ But even though I agree with Joe it's a very rare day that Paul Millers hanging out his arse he's still getting my vote, you do hangovers right my boy
